A great breakfast place. It was surprising me that they served Jambalaya. The dish looked delicious, but the taste was a little bland. Tomato sauce’s taste could be thicker.
Food is good. Huge wait times on the weekend. The girl at checkin is rude. We were told 15 minutes for an inside table. We waited for half an hour and then enquired. The girl started yelling that she cannot ask people to leave the table. We never asked that. What we expect is the girl goes and gets the status and gives us an update, especially after waiting double the time.

This Restaurant is just great, homemade delicious food, excellent service by our waitress Jazmin was above and beyond, great mimosas, I’ll be back anytime I’ll be in the area.
This is one of our best restaurants thank you for the delicious food, atmosphere and most of all the service. Montse was splendid she is the best!!! So kind and professional and very caring for her customers. Thank you for making our brunch with our family so wonderful.

My husband and I came here for the first time today to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the traditional American and my husband ordered the Chilaquiles. We also got a bloody Mary and a guava mimosa, which were so delicious. I also Recommend the café de olla . Our waitress Monseirat was very sweet and attentive. We can’t wait to come back🙂

I love this place .. but the particular table they set us at, was right at the door ... And today is really cold.. and the door was never closed we had to ask to close the door several times... Otherwise everything was perfect

From our first experience, Breakfast Republic takes their main dishes seriously while ignoring the quality of their sides and sauces. If you go there and just eat the main dish, you will leave happy (although you may feel weird about treating the large helping of side dish like a garnish).
The California Breakfast Burrito was very tasty (upgraded with the Jurrasic Pork Bacon), but they served it with a Mexican rice and black beans that were both badly in need of seasoning. Additionally, the salsa on the side lacked any distinct flavor, texture, or heat. The breakfast burrito stood out on its own, and that is the way it should be served.
The Mushroom Pesto Benedict was delicious, but the side of roasted potatoes was bland and without any distinct texture. This was another situation where the main dish would be made better by subtracting the side.
So many big restaurants have the problem of doing too many things and doing none of them well (I call this “Applebee’s Syndrome”). This is *NOT* Breakfast Republic’s issue. Breakfast Republic does many things very well, but need to identify the things they do poorly and then either improve or remove those.
