First time at the Pacific Beach Broken Yolk. Danielle was my Server and she was fantastic! Very friendly very accommodating and cheerful. It was National Taco Day and National Pumpkin Spice Day and got to enjoy the breakfast tacos and a pumpkin spice coffee.

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Large menu selections. Ordered green chile chilaquiles and an omelet. Both were stuffed with a lot of ingredients. Waitress was very friendly and polite. Apple juice didn't taste like apple juice, and toast was a little burned, but otherwise, it was a good experience.

What can I say, eggs, pancakes, typical breakfast food but you would think you were ordered a steak dinner when you get your check. Really bummed to see I had a coupon for $20 off on my table when I got home. Bought my 5 year old for his birthday breakfast asking with my daughter in law. We waited for over one hour(remember, with a 5 year old?) for our food. Two basic eggs potatoes and bacon, one children's pancake and one piece of french toast to share, over $60 without tip ?. Oh yeah we got coffee and OJ. I just don't see the price justified for the food here and for the long wait that we had to go through. Wasted much of my grandson's birthday celebration sitting. Waiting for food.

I highly recommend having a meal here. Great Service and our food came out fast. Everything tasted good as well. Also had the Mimosa flights

Parking: Parking in rear of the building or parking across the street. All free.

Kid-friendliness: Kids meal was great. Servers loved having the kids there. Great experience for my 4 year old and Autistic 2 year old.

Large portions. Decent food for chain restaurant. Things were going well until I realized they had served our kid a cup of spoiled milk. They just apologized and we went on our way.

Low quality food. Service not good. Coffee is decent. Disappointed. Other Broken Yolk restaurants are better.

We stumbled upon this place accidentally in December 2023- and made a point of coming back, all the way from Washington, in July. Such amazingly fresh and tasty food! The Monte Crisco is my favorite! The rooftop dining area maximizes the California ambiance- fresh warm air in a shaded and comfortable space. 5 stars… very repeatable.
