We had a wonderful experience at The Broken Yolk San Diego State University Location College Ave- our Cashier Jaiden was kind & helpful with our needs of menu browsing & Kevin stepped it up for the coffee we needed! We were blessed with a chance meeting Billy from Philly -who happens to be one of the owners. He was checking up on how our food & service was- and we ended up enjoying a conversation with him! He’s a kick & you can tell he cares about his customers...
Food was okay. Kept messing up my order. I ordered to-go, and they consistently made it dine-in. And didn’t even compensate. Just put in whatever was in the dine-in plate and messily plopped it in the to-go box. I felt a disregard for my time and money. Also sometimes, they take a long time for no reason. I wouldn’t bother going here if not in the meal plan. Their pancakes are good though.
Cool spot with awesome food and spectacular customer service. Specially the Owner Roy and the attentand named Estela. They made my family and I feel so welcomed for the 1st time. The chilaquiles were on point and the kids plate of chicken tenders. There will be a sencond visit for sure!!
