The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Haven’t been to San Diego in forever and many many years ago Coffee Bean and Tea was right down the street from us. Never was a Starbucks fan, because their coffee was always bitter. Not so with Coffee Bean and Tea! Today, while it’s not on the menu, they still make the white chocolate dream blended! Amazing as I always remember!!! Very poor service. Never bothered to call my name and made sure I received my order while it sat on the counter for a long time. No names or labels on the beverages whatsoever. Not sure if this is a corporate policy or just a poor service at this branch.

Love the outdoor patio. Is a very relaxing area to sip a coffee work off your computer enjoy the sun. I recommend the brown sugar latte and passionfruit ice tea. Was charged for an iced water. Basic customer service where was that. First drink in their app is free as well birthdays through their rewards feature

The coffee isn't bad, the service is horrible. The majority indigenous latina women who work here don't smile at customers...oh, but joke and laugh with each other. It reminds me of when I lived in Jalisco and Mexico City. Identical poor customer service. No sincere smile, no sincere welcome at the door. No sincerity in general. Btw, where are the other ethnicities? I thought this country was "multicultural"

Caught them at a busy time, but the drink, matcha strawberry latte dreamy drink was amazing, and the service pleasant. Will definitely go again.
