Sophisticated hideaway in Rancho Bernardo. Behind a nondescript, office-park exterior is well-appointed restaurant with exposed brick walls, iron features and a mix of dark-wood tables, booths and banquettes. Service is outstanding -- best in RB. Menu is mostly tapas-style, farm-to-table, and varies, including must-have sumptuous garlic noodles, lamb chops, and grilled octopus. Entrees are hearty but you can make a delightful meal with friends out of small plates accompanied by tasty Abnormal Beer.
Overall, a poor experience. It took 5 minutes to be greeted. Waitress never checked to see if everything was ok. Steak was uncuttable. Never refilled empty waters. Stood 10 min's to get anyone's attention to ask a question and get bill. We felt ignored. First time EVER that I didn't leave a tip. Unfortunate.
Not sure if they were short staffed, but we waited for everything. Main course was not very hot. Sea bass tasted fishy (old).
If you're going to close the kitchen in 20 mins then you should come back to our table right away instead of us flagging another server to take our order. They brought dessert before the entree (who does that!), forgot a component of an appetizer (guess they were hoping we wouldn't notice?) and the temperature to all our steaks were not cook properly (medium = well done?). Some plates had sauce added but my sister's had none - very inconsistent. Our server never came back to see how we were doing nor refilled our drinks. I guess it's because they're closing for the night. We felt very rushed. First and last time Cork and Craft. Terrible service. Mediocre food.
Outstanding customer service! Great food! Awesome server, Gavin! Will be back! Great hidden gem in RB.
Our hostess wasn't very attentive , guess they needed more help for a busy Friday evening. The new menu raised prices and when I ordered extra veggies instead of the potatoes , I was shocked. So few veggies and a sliver of salmon. Disappointing, as it used to be our go to place. I will say the beer options and burger are still a win.
While our server was wonderful, we were a little taken aback when the bill came with a 4% surplus tax that wasn't factored into the prices. Food was flavorful and seemingly clean; small size plates with minimal accoutrements. A little over salted.
We were sat outside and the hostess never informed a waitress so we didn't have service right away. Once we did get our waitress, there wasn't a lot of follow up and our food came out cold and this was underwhelming.
Great service. Menu offers food & drink options. Only downside (and does not detract from my 5 star rating) were fellow diners who were unable to control their dog. Our conversation was frequently pierced by annoying barking. People are so inconsiderate - we're outside but we're not in your backyard!
The waiter was fantastic, but the kitchen was transitioning to a new menu, and the delivery of food was erratic. The two of us ordered shishito peppers as an appetizer, salads, and main courses. The appetizer didn't come until after the main courses, and in fact we had already told them to forget it. Two salads were delivered together with one of the main courses. We sent that back, because it was going to get cold. It was redelivered after we had the salads, but no sign of the other main course. After repeated promises that it was about to be delivered, it finally came almost after the first main course had been eaten. The food was excellent, and our poor waiter did his best to take care of us.

Great atmosphere; attentive and quick staff! Over all fantastic time; would definitely come back/ recommend
Called earlier in the day to see if they offered Happy Hour and was told YES. However, when I arrived was told NO. Didn't stay as a result.
Always a good experience at Cork & Craft. The food is superior to your typical gastropub fare and the beer is uniformly excellent.
Food was good, beer was cold. Could stand a few more choices on the menu. Service was fantastic! Great attitudes, good vibes. Worth a visit for sure.
The food was very good! The service was excellent and server was very friendly. The restaurant also looks fantastic
