Really sweet and friendly staff but the ice cream was…. Whack. I wish I could find a better word to describe what I tasted but whack really just is accurate. Their ice cream was bland and flakey. See?

Lovely staff, lovely space, horrible ice cream. Idk how you can name a place craft anything, when it is simply store bought brands sold at normal ice cream store premium. Honestly if the ice cream was decent- and repackaged- fine- justified pricing. But for crappy ice cream at a premium price? No way. 5 of us got different flavors and we all threw it out after 3 bites.
Poor flavor, icy, not creamy, artificial taste.
Hate to be this person but thats justt the truth

I've been here twice now. Very down to earth ice cream shop that is right next to a coffee place. It has a good selection of ice cream from many different suppliers in San Diego and they are all listed on the board.
They give a large amount of ice cream per scoop so 1 scoop almost seemed like it was 2. I've never got the two scoop one but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to finish it haha. They also have a kids scoop for anyone that might want that.

Was never acknowledged by the coffee bar staff, sat there for 10 minutes trying to order ice cream, no one helped us or even looked our direction. Bad vibes

We stopped here after a trip to Sunset Cliffs. I like the concept of having ice creams from different creameries kind of like a bar. Interesting idea. What I didn’t see:
Aside from the logos there wasn’t much about the creameries in the store. It would have been cool to have some information about them like the location, anything special about the business.
Second, they had just one vegan option there - a sorbet. The other photos seemed to imply a slightly bigger selection. Would be nice to have two or three options given the large number of spots they have for gelato and ice cream.

The new menu looks like clipart and sadly the ice cream didn’t improve my experience. It tasted artificial and store bought, when the whole point of going out for ice cream is to get better quality. I could get this experience from Ralph’s for a fraction of the cost.
Felt bad for the workers, who seemed equally disappointed with the new menu. Only one non-dairy option, too. Won’t be returning

Ice cream strangely tasted like chalk and was low quality. The cashier was unnecessarily rude trying to get us to pay and move out of the way before we even had a chance to order.
