We came yesterday afternoon around 415 . Kurt was all by himself we were a large group and others behind us . He was fantastic. I hope the business appreciates a employee like him .
We absolutely loved this ice cream shop! We stayed in San Diego for 3 days and went there twice. The portions are HUGE! We ordered « split scoops », and it was the equivalent of about 6 regular scoops. The flavors are excellent – it’s some real, creamy ice cream, not some water folles stuff. If I ever come back to San Diego, I’ll definitely stop by again!
I am not an ice cream connoisseur so it’s just fine ice cream to me. But I have to comment on the experience. We came in around 6pm on a hot summer day. The inside was warm, stale, dead, suffocating air, likely caused by the various machines running nonstop. So naturally everyone wants to sit outside. But the seating is either huge recliner-type lawn chairs or really high stools with no backs. But the worst is that the seating is right next to a huge dumpster. It reeks and you...
