Wow! Great breakfast, lunch joint in East Village. Super unassuming, The Farmacy has a huge patio area in the back that is quaint, quiet and clean! You do not even feel like you’re in East Village. Food was phenomenal, service was with a smile and again… that atmosphere! Great addition to the hood! Definitely a must for all who like a delicious breakfast (lunch served after 11)

I'm impressed. Discovered by accident. Will definitely go back. Poutine with vegan sausage was amazing.

I had the pleasure of being served by the owner, although his name has slipped my mind since my visit, he was sincere and attentive. The biscuits and gravy (lumberjack style) were out of this world. I was thoroughly impressed by their use of veggie sausage gravy for it and the house made biscuits were the perfect balance of fluffy and crispy. I'll be back to try their grits! Too bad they're closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays otherwise I'd go TODAY. Walk don't run to this place.

Came here for a birthday breakfast and it ended up being a solid pick. I ordered the Painkiller and my boyfriend tried the XO. The biscuit on the Painkiller tasted fresh and homemade, and overall the food felt really high quality. We also ordered vanilla oat-milk lattes (his was hot and mine was iced) and loved them.

We had to wait a bit to be seated even though there were a lot of open tables. The food also took awhile to come out. Everything tasted great though and made the wait feel worth it.

I appreciated that the indoor seating had armless chairs that felt comfortable and accommodating, though the tables are set pretty close together. I’d happily come back next time I’m in San Diego.

Maple Latte = terrific. Breakfast Menu = incredible. Everything house-made? no wonder that waffle hit different.

Service from Lorenzo was A1, and it's great to have have a spot like this in the neighborhood. I hope this place booms.

Very friendly staff. Amy was amazing as she tended to all our needs and was helpful on finding out ingredients in meals and available.

I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast in peace and with good company.

Price was so reasonable that I increased the tip.

Came in an hour before closing and waited to be sat, literally walked to the back to get the staff’s attention, and they literally ignored me. I tried to get their attention, back staff looked at me, and wouldnt even acknowledge me. I dont care how good the food is, this type of customer service, or lack thereof, will screw a place

Andrew went above and beyond! Great service and hospitality, connected with us personally, and made us laugh - but then also provided us with local recommendations to enhance our San Diego trip. Thank you Andrew! Not even to mention, the food and coffee were both fantastic as well. Their breakfast burrito (get it “christmas” with red and green chile) and pork belly grits were top notch. Put the Farmacy on your San Diego list!

Fantastic!! So happy they moved to SD. The old fashioned waffle was so so so good! The breakfast poutine was super tasty and procelleno sandwich had the best bread, pickled onions and olive promenade.

Good place to go before they get fully discovered! I expect our next visit to San Diego will see lines out the door. We arrived at 9 am and were promptly seated. The service was top notch and the food was fresh and delicious.

I got the XO and the brioche bun was light and thin, perfectly balanced with the rest of the sandwich. You can tell this food is prepared with care and attention. It’s the kind of meal that fills you up but doesn’t weigh you down.
