We each ordered different entrees and we each LOVED what we had. The restaurant was jammed and style got very good service

Excellent neighborhood restaurant with high quality food, high quality service, high quality drinks, and a great atmosphere. We attended for my mom's 70th birthday and are very happy we did. I recommend The Fishery with all the emphasis I can place on it!

This restaurant is a 10 out of 10. If you love seafood and fish... you will not get any better. Unbelievable creativity and execution on every plate. We ordered smoked albacore dip, mussels, ceviche, tataki, clams, swordfish, white sea bass and the pasta dishes... each one was excellent. We had a large group and the service was awesome. The desserts were all excellent as well. The lemon passionfruit pie and guava sorbet - delicious and the pot du crème was a table favorite. Hands down this is one of the best “ocean to table” restaurants in southern California. What a wonderful experience!

Everything about this little seafood spot is exceptional—the food, the service, and the relaxed, casual atmosphere. I’ve been here many times, and it never disappoints. Most recently, we celebrated my parents’ anniversary, and the experience was simply wonderful. The staff went above and beyond, and every dish was outstanding. It’s truly a gem, and I can’t wait to come back again.

Surprised to see a conserve dog seated inside and barking. Plenty of outdoor spots for dogs

Perfect birthday dinner celebration. Six in our party, we all had different apps, entrées& desserts, all were unique presentations & thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was welcoming, and our waiter was the best!

Service excellent and we were greeted and served very graciously. Food came quickly and we ordered delicious clam chowder. We have been to Boston and San Fransisco and by far this is the best clam chowder we have had. Salads on the side were added bonus and we were very satisfied with our meal and dining experience.

Excellent and fresh. I loved the local lobster campanelle pasta. The seafood tower was a delight. Will definitely return soon.

The Fishery absolutely nailed every dish we ordered. The Pacific Bluefin steak was flawless - seared to a perfect medium rare with a crisp, flavorful crust and a soft, buttery center that practically melted on the fork. It’s rich but balanced, and you can tell the fish is top quality.

The aguachile was just as impressive — bright, clean, and beautifully layered. The mix of pico de gallo, cilantro, radish, and lime gave it a perfect kick of acidity and freshness. It’s the kind of dish that feels both refreshing and deeply satisfying.

And the New England clam chowder (off-menu special) was comfort in a bowl — creamy but not heavy, with tender clams and perfectly cooked potatoes.

Every plate showed real care and respect for the ingredients. Easily one of the best seafood spots in San Diego.

The Fishery’s cocktail program is easily one of the best in San Diego. The Fishery Milk Punch is silky, bright, and perfectly balanced — blanco tequila, yogurt, and clarified milk come together in this smooth, almost weightless texture. The lemongrass note lingers softly, adding a clean citrus finish that keeps it refreshing rather than heavy. Her Name Was Lola is tropical but refined — blanco tequila with coconut, cucumber, and lime. It’s light, crisp, and just sweet enough. The cucumber and lime keep it refreshing while the coconut rounds it out with a soft creaminess. It is a perfect match with aquachile. The lime and cucumber echo the dish’s acidity and crunch, while the coconut smooths out the spice. The City of Music is a mix of gin, spruce tip, aquavit, and spirulina unlike anything else I’ve had. It’s earthy yet bright, with a clean finish that feels both coastal and foresty at once. It pairs nicely with the Pacific Bluefin Steak - the drink’s herbal, slightly resinous notes complement the seared crust and rich, buttery tuna interior.
