Not a lot of large plate choices, and really too expensive, but food was very excellent. Best creamed spinach I ever had. Lots of small plate choices. Its good for social engagements when you are not too hungry. Service was excellent.
Visited the Florence for the first time tonight and it was amazing. Ok first, having read other reviews I assumed the food would just be ok but everything we got was soooo good. I got the strawberry lemonade cocktail on happy hour and my husband and I shared the double cheeseburger protein style and it was delicious. Our kids also shared a double cheeseburger. On Saturday nights they have prime rib and we shared that and it was also so good. We got it with a side of asparagus....
I REALLY wanted to love this place. It is very close to our house and the restaurant is gorgeous (inside and out). We tried the Florence for dinner (6 of us) on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not very crowded and there were only a few people sitting outside under the gorgeous pavilion. Despite this, we were seated in a strange, out the way table that when it got dark had no light to see what we were eating. We had to ask for candles so that we were able to read menus, etc....
