I was so excited to try this place but it was a disappointment. First of all, parking sucks. The restaurant it selfish isn’t anything special. There were hardly any customers. The cook and the girl at the register were looking at their phones the whole time. Sign of the times I guess but the food was so salty. I ordered the McDee’s wannabe Filet-o-fish and onion rings. Anything fried is generally edible and I was hungry so I finished it but wth is up with the salt content?? It was beyond salty. No thanks to a return.

I was looking for good smash burgers, and this hit the spot. I had the OG and the French dip. I thoroughly enjoyed them both. The French dip is genius. I love onions and this felt like a fusion of everything I love about smash burgers and French onion soup.

Don’t walk past this spot. The atmosphere is so outdated. Looked like I walked into an old restaurant from the 60s. There’s a reason for that because you want to focus on the food. 🍔
The Hamburgers here were absolutely delicious. Probably the best smashed burger I have ever ate. I tried a famous spot in LA and this beats that!!! I had the French Onion Dip burger and had the OG Dirty Flattop burger. I can’t choose between which one was the best. They both had their unique taste. I would definitely come by again. I live 2 hours away and I would make the drive just to have a smash burger from this spot.

My friend was really bummed to find out that the PB location was shut down but she took me to this one. It was my first time ever trying the food and I got the dirty flat top with fries, ranch and aioli on the side. It was hands down 10/10, the BEST BURGER I’VE EVER HAD. Ranch and aioli on the side is a MUST. I will say, the only downside is that it was very very salty. I like salt but this was a lot. The interior is very simple, it could be revamped for a cooler vibe.

This spot is delicious! A low key chill vibe amazing service. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area looking for a bomb burger try the shitkicker and the onion rings! You won’t regret it.
Love the burgers, they were absolutely delicious! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a small but decent variety of options, catering to meat, cheese and onion lovers. The sides, especially the fries, were equally impressive.
Overall, if you're looking for a great burger spot with a chill vibe in San Diego, this is the place to go. Highly recommend it! ??

We came here hearing it was San Diegos #1 yelp recommended burger! It was a very tasty smash burger style that was freshly made in record timing! The onions rings were amazing, the frys were very good and the burger was succulent. The grilled onions and cheese fell apart in your mouth I should have asked for delightful pickle but that's not what these burgers are about. I will go back to try there BBQ burger but #1 best burger in SD.... yes, no, maybe? If you are all about the SMASH give it a go baby!
But hey quality burger that doesn't break the bank!
