We took our son for a birthday dinner and the experience was absolutely perfect! Our wait staff was excellent, our server provided recommendations, was thoughtful and very courteous. My husband's filet mignon was tender and delicious and my veal was wonderful I will definitely be back!
We have been dining at the Godfather for over 30 years. Usually we have a wonderful experience. We went last night for my bday and it wasn't the experience we were used to. Our waiter didn't seem very friendly, our food took a long time to come out and we had to ask for the appetizer of fried zucchini that usually comes out fairly quickly without ask. My daughter ordered the bolognese and her pasta hardly had any sauce. I hope this is an isolated experience and will...
Overall, it was a pleasant experience although not the same as when the Balastreris owned and ran it. Thank god the food is still excellent. I marked down in service as the bus boy was way too pushy about boxing leftovers. Two in our party were still eating. They should wait until it's obvious all are finished. I miss the formality of the wait staff like before.
