My company treated its staff with a comp'd meal from the Groovy Greek Truck and I was not disappointed. I was impressed at how the employees handled the rush of hungry employees over the course of 2 hours. I ordered the lemon chicken. I am not sure how much it typically costs but I would assume it's a great value because it does come with a lot of food. My only food related note is the lemon chicken had no lemon flavor to it. The yellow glaze was a honey mustard, but regardless it still was very tasty. The rice, tzatziki, and salad had great value. Definitely left nice and full and sleepy for the rest of my workday!

Their food truck made a stop at India Street for lunch recently. I got a gyros plate with rice, a side salad, and pita bread. Cost over $20. It was packaged neatly and ready to go in 5 minutes. The plate was filling and I enjoyed the gyros.

WOW! This is easily the best Greek food in town. I've stalked this truck at several events, and literally every single thing is delicious! The gyros are tender, the chicken is super moist, and the fries are like crack. Yummmmm can't wait to find them again!

Great service and gyro meat is best I've ever tasted. We were in a park atmosphere by the water front with a DJ so lots of fun too

The lady working our event was super rude. She wouldn't serve me and my wife (even after waiting in line) because she believed we ordered more for our party - although my wife and I were present and ready to order for us individually. I previously waited alone in for my son and ordered for him. Not only was she incapable of understanding our explanation, she was rude and ignored us by walking away. I would not recommend this place at all. The food wasn't good enough to compensate for the bad service. I do not recommend.

Once again The Groovy Greek did not disappoint! We had him cater a lunch for 200, and the food was amazing! Lots of yummy chicken, falafel, and gyro, plus a spectacular Greek salad and spinach-rice. Great tasting, interesting, healthy food! PERFECT.

Get 'em to the Greek!!!As I was pondering whether or not to get some grub, my coworker pops up exclaiming others were raving about the food. So I figured, let's give it a go, shall we.I ordered the pimped out lemon chicken plate, cuz if it's as pimped out as this truck is, I'm in for a treat. X to the Z baby let's get it! So the plate consisted of about 2.5 lemon chicken tenders, spinach rice, Greek salad, tzatziki, and pita. Thanks to our event, I only paid $5 for the meal, including a drink. Chicken-nice caramelization, likely brined in lemon juice, oregano, and olive oil. Moist and deftly seasoned. Rice- perfectly cooked short grain. Reminded me of a homemade rice a roni.Salad- Fresh ingredients but some of the red onion was cut way too big. Salad was tasty but overdressed. The overdressing was not an issue for me.Pita- fluffy and nicely toasted on the grill. Excellent job!Tzatziki - tasted homemade and delicious. I could eat this all day. I was very pleased with my meal today; you can see how I cleaned my plate...lolThanks Groovy Greek!

Every time I visit San Diego I have to stop by this place. It's so hard to find a place that won't overcook the gyro, it was cooked perfectly! Love the salmon and salads as well. The only thing that's stopping this food truck from taking over is SHRIMP! LoL They used to have shrimp but don't anymore. :(

Whenever I want Greek Food, I immediately want The Groovy Greek! I've eaten from this food truck at least 7 times and I'm never disappointed. They never overcook the food, it's always fresh and authentic.

This is very good food. The lemon chicken was beyond words, considering it's a food truck. The people within the truck were very courteous and helpful with suggestions. Pricing is in the middle, but worth it. Try them out.

I spied the truck from 3rd story window at doctors office at UCSD and thought, I sure hope it is still there by the time I get done and sure enough it was. I was so impressed with the fresh, delicious food and later saw online that they use local produce, etc. That makes us happy. I had the Falafel "Pimped up" which meant it comes with sides and I chose the rice and spinach one. The whole meal was great and I really appreciated all the Tzatziki. Other restaurants don't give that much. I hope to see them again when I am at UCSD.
