Poor service. Had to repeat the order multiple times and also the to go part. It was like the cashier was not listening at all. This was at the Habit Burger in Mira Mesa. Also very slow service when not busy.
I went to the store with my daughters and we went to the register. The associate informed us that they only accept cash payments and we could only use the kiosk to pay. However, a customer who came after us was able to place their order and pay in cash. I approached the cashier and questioned how the machine worked for that customer if it didn't work for us, suggesting that this was discrimination. The cashier replied that they assumed our order would be too large because there were three of us, whereas the other customer was alone. I argued that this remark was discriminatory as they had no idea about the size of our order, especially since they took the order of the young female who came after us and turned us away.

I have to leave a review. I don't usually write these and the reason you understand after reading completely. I stopped to get my haircut and after my haircut I saw the Habit which I hadn't been to in probably 2-3 years. I used to take my family and dog there and sit outside. It was clean and majority of the time and the staff was friendly but I was blown away about the price. Like I mentioned I used to come here quite a bit in Murrieta with my family. I decided after my haircut I would try the Habit again since I had received a gift card for $20 in December of 2022 for a gift for Christmas. I figured it would be giving them another try. All I ordered was a double char and of course I had to add the cheese for additional price and I added bacon and avocado and ordered an onion ring and no drink. Just ice as I had my own water. I was astonished that the total for me was over $16 and that didn't even come with a drink or an ice cream cone or anything. When I came to the habit ( before Yum brands purchased them ) I could take our family of 4 and our dog and feed all of Us including our dog with 2 separate patty for our dog for a little less than $40. Before we could all go there and all get an entree each, 2 side party for the dog and get an onion ring and a French fry to split for the 4 of us and maybe a couple of drinks as most of the time we don't drink soda. Also we would all be able to get ice cream cones as well since they were only 99 cents. In fact I would share my vanilla ice cream cone with my dog by letting him lick the cone on occasion. My experience today using the $20 gift card left what I would consider an extremely expensive meal without a drink or ice cream cone on my palate. I won't be coming back to the habit any time soon. Thinking about it now I should have given the remainder of what I had on my gift card to the people behind me as less than $4 really won't buy much over there anymore. Needles to say I was disgusted at the price for what I received. I could have got 3 or 4 burgers at in n out which is comparable quality and maybe a little better meat actually. Once again another decent what was a family run chain sold out to YUM BRANDS A CORPORATE COMPANY TO COME IN AMD RAISE THE PRICES ON EVERY SINGLE ITEM. I WONT BE COMING BACK AS I DON'T AGREE WITH HOW THE PRICES DO NOT REFLECT THE QUALITY. Its really fast food but could have paid $16 at chilis for a 3 and me and gotten a margarita and dessert and been stuffed however sometimes at chilis "they and them " are "there which makes me lose my appetite ! So long to the good ole' days
