Worth the walk, definitely the better Mid-eastern food in the area. We love the saffron rice here, perfectly cooked and seasoned, taste like home. All the sauces are awesome too. Food are freshly prepared, quickly served. Staffs are very friendly. A great quick eat station, highly recommended.

We just love being greeted right off the bat. We were looking at the menu and the gentleman at the front was super friendly and offered us samples if we wanted. He also made recommendations. I ended up ordering fries with falafel & hummus and my husband ordered a kebab. The falafel was perfectly cooked too! The sauces were really good. Both were great choices and couldn't have been better. We wish we lived in SD so we could be regulars. Just go. You won't regret it!

Great kabobs and salads with these wonderful sauces. We usually get the grilled chicken breast cubes in a wrap loaded with veggies and top it with the very tasty white garlic and green cilantro sauces. Can't get enough of this place!

Empty plates, you know what that means. I don't think I need to say anymore, there are empty plates.

Best food ever! Obsessed with. Would love for them to open up in different states. We live in Utah and we think about this place all the time.

The greens were fresh and the hummus was spot on. Both the chicken and lamb were delicious and the portions are generous.

We are regular customers of TKS since 2014 but disappointed on our recent catering order. I ordered food here for our Easter lunch. Our order went through but when we were picking-up the food, there was a sign that they were closed on Easter Sunday. We almost didn't have anything to eat for our Easter lunch, good thing there was a restaurant who took our last minute order. If you guys can update your website or even your voicemail when you are closing for a holiday, that would be great help for your customers.

Food is always great. The service was exceptional and I happen to have made a mistake on my end during the transaction process and they were able to issue me a refund with no problem. The ambiance inside is very welcoming and they greet you with a warm welcome. Thank you to all the team!

Kebab Shop is my go to when I'm in the gaslamp. 5 stars in all categories.I was a little disappointed they discontinued the meatballs but I had the Kafta and it's actually better.Doesnt matter if you like a wrap or a plate both are exceptional. The manager is a cool dude as well. Always very pleasant and on top of his game.Fair warning, it takes like 10 or 15 minutes for the steak so be patient when you go there and order a freshly cooked skewer of meat.

The food is sometimes edible but nothing to write home about. The falafel is usually dry and kind of nasty, but my husband likes the lamb so we'll order from here from time to time. The service kinda sucks. They always forget stuff in the to go orders. Most recently, I ordered a falafel plate and they left out the pita bread, which basically makes the whole plate inedible because I need the pita to make little mini sandwiches (this is the only way the falafel is even halfway edible because it masks the nastiness). They offered to refund me a whole $1.50 for a $15 inedible plate or I could make the trip back over there to pick up the pita. Upside is we won't be going here again and I never liked it in the first place, so I'm happy to move it out of our takeout rotation

My husband and I checked out The Kebab Shop in downtown San Diego. We were looking for Mediterranean style dishes. We decided to give The Kebab Shop a chance. They did not disappoint. We enjoyed the fresh Mediterranean Greek salad, pita bread & hummus, and customer service. Emmanuel, Eric, and Andy took really good care of us, showed great hospitality and we will be back to visit when we are in the area again.
