The only thing more incredible than the view at this local hotspot is the food. The setting cannot be beat. The seasonal menu from renowned local female chef offers the freshest selections with many healthy and vegetarian options— as well as the decadent French toast, which I highly recommend to start your meal. Excellent coffees, smoothies and juices as well. This is our go-to place. Pro tip, make reservation on OpenTable. Sit up top for a great view and excellent service by Dakota.
Today we had the salad w/ skewer of delicate steak, the French toast, egg sandwich, a harvest bowl, yogurt & fruit parfait, and potato pancake w smoked salmon. Yum😋 Enjoy!

The cafe and restaurant Kitchen@MCASD is a true gem. Incredible ocean views, plenty of comfortable seating, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere make it a perfect spot to relax or meet up with friends. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and it’s clear that strong marketing leadership from Jamie Mae Cheng shines through in the overall experience. A beautiful setting paired with great service—highly recommend!

The food and service was top-tier. We had sandwiches, fries and shakes. I especially loved the Mayan coffee. It had some paprika in it, which was the game changer.

such a hidden gem in La Jolla - incredible views, never over crowded, sweet staff, and some of the best food in the area! we had the smoked salmon latke and chicken sandwich, and both were out of this world.

We walked out from this restaurant before eating. The restaurant was empty, and there are 4 of us and we asked to combine 2 tables and the waitress tried to do that and was told by the supervisor we can’t . We were going to have full lunch and not asking more that just put the table next to each other together. IT did EMPTY, but they were not flexible and we just walked out. DEFINITELY NOT CUSTOMERS friendly

Excellent food. Very flavorful. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Would come again and recommend.
This is the third time my friend and I have eaten at The Kitchen at the Museum of Art San Diego. We have always received excellent service. We will continue to eat there. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful night on the patio, and a magical menu focused on corn. Every course was amazing. Definitely going back.
Anther fabulous tasting dinner, this time featuring corn -all the courses were amazing - the blue corn polenta with the pork was an incredible combination!

Beautiful dining opportunities, both indoors and out. Great service and wonderful, healthy food choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Worth going out of your way for, and plan a visit to the museum before or after.
I think this is one of the finest restaurants in SD. The view ol the ocean is gorgeous. The menu and food were fresh and interesting. Lots of flavors and texture. Our server was efficient . All over a wonderful experience .
The setting, service and food is outstanding! I always look forward to trying the new, creative seasonal dishes.
Service is sparse, ask for a bottle of water to be left on your table and two if you are a group of 4.
Had a good lunch here and the view is great.
