What happened???!!!! This place used to be the coolest smoothie shop in all of San Diego. It had the most fun names and excellent combination choices for all of their smoothies, went in today after dropping my kid off to daycare next door and was shocked and saddened to see the wall of smoothies gone and now they only have 9 smoothie choices all with very weird combinations that have some of what you want but then a bunch of extra weird stuff that’s not needed. When I asked about the smoothies they said they did an Instagram survey and people found the list overwhelming. Fair enough but this new idea is extremely UNDERWHELMING and I ended up walking out because there was nothing good to choose from. Now I’m over at the corporate as all get out Jamba Juice ordering a normal combination of ingredients wondering what happened to that cool hip shop that refused to wear masks during Covid (which I thought was awesome as supported whole hearty-even bought the shirt). I will miss you mad beet.

Service was top notch. Something about the vibe felt like a quick coffee shop, I wanted to play more than half a game but felt rushed - not by the staff. That’s probably just tourist-y in itself

It saddens me to do this because it was always my favorite juice bar in PB. I recently went back after the remodel. Normally I get a large juice (32 oz with no ice) for $12. Today same juice same price, 16oz. lol. Talk about shrinkflation. Bummed Mad Beet fell to this. Thanks Biden.

Love this place, great açaí and toppings but 90% of the time, they get the additions/removals wrong.

The entire team here is incredible, but also every product I’ve tried! My favorite juice so far for flavor has been the Beets by Dre, but for a wake up/health boost has been the Lemonem! You can’t go wrong coming to this place 👍🏻

I had never been to the Mad Beet before but I’ve driven by plenty of times. I’m very biased on where I get my açaí bowls and really didn’t know what to expect. The Mad Beet is solid! Good energy when you walk in, everyone is really nice and the items have fun names. I ordered an açaí bowl and really enjoyed it, the Beyoncai bowl! Easily on of my top 3 favorite açaí bowls in town. They also have a bunch of free video arcade games to play while you wait. I’m excited to come back and try out more menu items!

I’ve had smoothies a few times from here that were ok but after discovering they registered their business on a right wing conservative website I won’t be coming back. Anyone who supports women, minorities and migrants having their rights taken away will NOT be getting my business anymore.

I’ve been coming here for I think 7 years. We drive from out of state and always make this a stop on our trip. Last weekend was my first time back since last March. Typically the açaí bowls are topped with fresh fruit. This weekend my bowl was full of flavorless mushy blueberries skins. When we asked about it, we were told they switched to frozen and that is how they are when they thaw out 🤮 such a disappointment. They did offer a cup full of frozen blueberries.. but it’s just not the same and they have zero flavor. If you guys switch back to fresh fruit, I’ll be back ✌️
