We went here for a brief lunch and I ordered the pesto chicken flatbread and made it a combo. I also ordered an oatmeal raisin cookie. The pros were the cookie and the cons were the pizza was luke warm it’s held in the warmer and given to you. It would’ve been great if it was hot. Another con are the additional charges they add to your bill for service charges but it’s a self serve line no wait staff.

Having walked to the end of the promenade we called in to the Hilton and asked at the restaurant where the best place to order a drink would be. We were directed to the Pool Bar – a delightful area outside with comfortable seating. We ordered iced tea and when we asked for the bill we were told that there was no charge. Most impressive.

We were staying at The Hilton Bayfront for a business convention and ended up having lunch at The Pool Club on 3 of our 6 days there. It is a beautiful venue, but it can be pretty hectic and noisy on a sunny weekend day. Even when busy our service was always good. The servers were friendly and helpful! At those 3 lunches we tried a number of food items on the menu. We had the Poke Bowl which was great, delicious fried pickles, the Grouper Fish Tacos (great), the burger, chicken tenders and the truffle fries. I loved the Seafood Cobb so much that I had it all 3 visits...delicious!! If you are staying at the hotel the Pool Club is a very convenient, relaxing and delicious place to have lunch.

I had just checked in at the Hilton after having been on a jet for about 8 hours. Stopped in for lunch and had fish tacos which were not the best I ever had, but nevertheless very good. Service was top notch and the bartender made mean old fashioned. It was outside in pleasant San Diego weather. A very nice lunch with very good service and the price wasn't bad either. With the drink, lunch and tip, I was out the door for less than 40 clams. Lunch here was quite tasty and reasonable. A short walk from the convention center makes this a great place for a quick bite.

The pool here is large. The hot tub is large. The view from the pool is great, with views of the harbor. The bar isn't huge but its enough for good drinks and easy music listening. Overall I think the space here is relaxing.

The worst service ever. Rudest staff possible. Drinks subpar and the food AHHHHHHHHH!!

Good service and a flattering menu (for a limited number of offerings) whetted our appetites. The food, however, did not measure up. The fruit cup was old and soggy, and the SW chicken wrap lacked zing and avocado. Service was very good. Views were fantastic.

A full day spent at a busy poolside with too few sun beds for customers. A fish taco was ordered which wasn’t great. Made mistake of double tipping as found out afterwards that restaurant automatically add 18% to the bill.

The pool area is very small compared to the size of the Hilton. It gets very busy. A challenge to find a sunbed after 9-10 AM untill 5PM The pool area overlooks the ocean which is very nice. There is an attached open bar area with lunch tables Only self service from the bar which has a very limited food menu. The drinks are good, but really expensive. Look at the menu before you order. Pina colada is $16, a bottle of Corona is $11.

Prices are crazy high and the service was poor.

Nice little poolside bar at the Hilton Bayfront. Nice built-in ice rail to keep drinks cold. Friendly staff and poolside food is a little better than I expected.

Request a blanket and hang out long after the sun sets!
