Everything was adequate.
Food and drinks are really good. I was interrogated by some random person claiming to be security. I’ve visited this bar for close to 10 years now

We thought we were parking at a different restaurant, but ended up here on accident and because it was such a pain to park we decided to just stay and eat. You order at the bar and we actually weren't too hopeful about our food. But it turned out to be pretty tasty, even though there's a pretty limited menu. All but one of the seating is bar height, so keep that in mind. Parking is very tight and limited. We were a little cold, and asked if we could shut the front door but the bartender wouldn't allow it because she wanted people to know they were open, so existing customers comfort doesn't matter as much as hopefully bringing in other customers. It was pretty empty when we were there. Atmosphere was not the best, but like I said, if you find yourself here the food was better than we expected.

Went there because of Three's Company. It's nothing like the sitcom, but just cool being there for bragging rights. Had a burger and fries and didn't disappoint. Be prepared to find parking.

Sausage of month was great. Grilled onions to perfection. It's a very dive bar atmosphere but very friendly. Lots of options on this stretch of road of all sorts of variety. Lots of craft brews, over 12 for sure.

The Regal Beagle is a nifty, little, appropriately dive bar; which, all holds great 👍. A perfect little neighborhood bar. The service and servers are always friendly and the food is great 👍. The food is delicious consistently. It's a welcoming place to come. There's the good, now let's get into some other stuff. Atmosphere, only gets barely three star and her's my personal opinion. No matter what time a day or shift I come in to hang out, the music is always different and unfortunately never very good. It feels like whomever is working that day, decides to play their personal playlist. It's never recognizable music, it's always some random b side playlist. It has a very dreary tone and feels like a college frat house just randomly playing their, grunge, slightly alternative music... That being said, the place is usually fairly empty and I have to wonder... Gosh, maybe it's the music that's turning people away or not creating a return business. Music, is the soul of people and when you play music, you must keep in mind the general public does not want to listen to your personal playlist. Music is a genre and feeling... It's really important and creates an atmosphere. I guarantee you; that if you started mixing it up a bit more and promoting that you really care about this review and your customers, you consider shifting it up and change it up and start playing more inviting music. I'm from Cleveland, Ohio. Rock n roll Hall of Fame baby! A town with great Motown and funky oldies. I just moved to San Diego and so far the city is great, but, the music scene is thumbs down 👎. Perhaps, start promoting themed nights to get people back in on FB and advertise it. Mix it up and start playing say... Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, some nice blues perhaps and maybe even some good old Yacht Rock, mixed in to the playlist, you maybe have an audience that lingers longer in your cool spot; that has a lot history and if you're old enough to remember Three's Company, then you know what I'm talking about with this review.

I love that this place gives you a random name to call out your food order, kinda makes it fun! Also, the service is really good and the food is top notch dive bar food! The burgers are seasoned to perfection and the Philly cheese / chopped cheese is next level. Highly recommend!

A great bar to visit when in the Mission Hills area . I can only comment on the beer since that's why I go there. The beer list is great, as one comes to expect when in San Diego .
