The best burger I have ever had in my life, seriously good.
I got the Double Smash with Garlic Parm Fries and my partner got the Island Smash with Cajun Fries. This burger was so good the bun was soft and pillowy, the meat so juicy, their signature sauce tied everything together in a neat bow, it didn’t distract from the freshness from everything else.
My partners burger was seriously so good, the Island Smash didn’t sound like something I would be into, but he insisted I tried a bite and magically the flavors worked so good together.
The only gripe I have is that I’m not a San Diego local and I won’t be able to come back until the next time I’m here!

Don't go out of your way to come here. It's very mediocre. Burgers were meh and pricey and fries were super soggy, even fresh out the box. It's not bad to have if you're already there at the bar, but not a place I'd come to or ever crave.

If you consider yourself a cheese burger lover like myself, then you have to eat the smash burger here. I cant believe I'm saying this but my double smash burger was hands down the best burger I've ever had and I've had plenty in my life time.
Im very happy I decided to give this place a try today. The owners name is Scotty and he's the burger artist that made my day. He doesn't know it yet but im a customer for life after the experience I just had.

I really like this place! I’ve eaten here numerous times and the food has been excellent (the smash burger, the tritip sandwich, and the fried chicken sandwich, which I think one of the best in SD). The service is friendly and efficient, too! Another reviewer compared the smash burger to a local chain; it’s MUCH better than that! Oh, and the fries are hand cut and fantastic. Come by Friday-Sunday and add a beer at neighboring sidecar for just $5! This place is aces!

This may be a place to get a late night burger when you have been drinking but it is not the place to expect great food or discount prices.
Had the fried chicken sandwich which was souv vid in duck fat. Amazing. The burgers sound great and the service was super friendly. Fun little spot. Easy to miss if you're not looking. Right next to SideCar restaurant. Great stop for a burger/sandwich or tenders.

Left a review at the bar this place is attached too by mistake. Best burger I’ve had in SD. The fries are okay, they come with the burger for a nominal fee which is appreciated in an age of al-la-carte sides. Will definitely be back!

They changed their menu and got rid of the amazing tacos and cheese curds. Almost no vegetarian options now. Probably won’t be back
