The Shop: Pizza + Cocktails

Food was ok. Crust texture like a bisquick dough. Flavor was fine. Surprised when they added a 3% “Love” charge to the bill to help with affordable wages. Not mentioned on the menu. A sneaky way to increase prices, just change the prices on the menu by 3% and be up front about it. Really aggrivating.

I had the pleasure of trying this pizza, and it instantly transported me back to the streets of Naples. The crust was perfectly thin and crisp with that slight chew — just the way it should be. The sauce was vibrant, full of fresh tomato flavor, and beautifully balanced with herbs. The mozzarella was creamy and melted just right, and every bite had that authentic wood-fired aroma.

You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their craft. If you’re craving true Italian pizza without the plane ticket, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!

Our server was incredible. He came out and double checked allergen information several times to make sure everything was safe (gluten free and dairy free) and was more than kind about it. Our kids could move around outside, the food was delicious, everyone got what they needed even the one with celiac, and overall it was a bit pricey but a wonderful experience and great for family get togethers.

Best Pizza shop in RB with great atmosphere, fresh ingredients, nice staffs and well decorated outdoor patio.

The food was fantastic, service was awesome. The only negative is that it was a little loud inside. Solid walls echo the sound quite a lot. Fortunately, there is generous seating outside.

The deep dish pizza is really good

Have ordered delivery numerous times and the deep dish has come delicious everytime. We like to put it back in the oven to get it back to temp and it’s the best deep dish on this side of San Diego. We need to stop at the restaurant and give it a try to see the service as well. Highly recommend

My family and I went there for our first time and oh man we were amazed!!!
We fell in love with the fresh flavors that left us wanting more. My wife and I enjoyed our meals with Rye (me) and a rose (my wife) and my boys 1 and 3 just loved the pizzas.

The deep dish crust is biscuit like but solid enough to pick up the slice and surprisingly light, flakey, and crunchy in all the best ways.

The traditional is crispy, flavorful with the right crunch, and chew that won't leave you disappointed.

Both had amazing sauce and all the toppings tasted so fresh, you can tell the difference. These pizzas are master crafted.

now we get to the cookies.... OMG... Almost cake like in the center but not dry, gooey but not goopey, crispy on the outside. This is not a store bought take and bake cookie. This is is the cookie grandma wish she made.

Overall everything was 10 out of 10, the staff is amazing, friendly and informative. Come and love it!
Just FYI, deep dish takes time, it's not the service it's the way it's done and done right. If my toddler could wait, anybody can. It's worth it!!!!

Wonderful little pizza place. They were incredibly helpful with some dietary needs that I have. The pizza was phenomenal. I got the 858 on traditional thin crust.

We went there for Happy hour.
We ordered spicy cheese bite, wings and Deep dish pizza. Place was good. Food was good.

This is a little slice of Chicago in Rancho Bernardo. I haven't enjoyed such delicious deep dish pizza since leaving the Chicago area over four decades ago.
