R Made reservation for 12:15 lunch in Friday when restaurant normally opens at noon. Restaurant still had not opened at 12:30PM. Kitchen staff in takeout area was mystified that no waiters showed up in time to open dining room. Disappointing to say the least.

The calamari picante was delicious. Pasta always seems to be overcooked here, but the sauce is tasty.

I'm pretty shocked this had 4 stars to be honest. It was about as basic and plain as you can get with Italian food. Worst of all it was all bland, would definitely not recommend.

Still a wonderful spot for great Italian food in Point Loma! Service was prompt and friendly, the food was excellent, and the cost was reasonable. My only comment is I wish they still served the penne pasta with marinara sauce as a side with the chicken piccata, but next time I'll ask for that specifically.

This was my second time dining here, and the experience matched my 1st visit. This spot is easy to find with plenty of street parking. The food portions are generous and very tasty. My wife had lasagna, I ordered pizza, and we shared a salad. Everything tasted great and I especially liked their pizza sauce. But what stood out most me was the service! We were lucky to have Mike as our server both times we visited. From start to finish, Mike provided an exceptional dining experience and was attentive without being intrusive. He and his assistant anticipated our needs, ensuring our drinks were always refilled and checking in at just the right moments. Mike's warm, friendly demeanor made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. What stood out most was Mike's positive energy and light hearted humor such as joking about the "calorie free" Tiramisu we ordered for desert. Despite the restaurant being busy, he managed to keep everything running smoothly, which added to our enjoyment of the evening. His exceptional service, combined with his friendly and professional attitude, is a rare find. If you're dining here, I highly recommend requesting Mike as your server.
