A Consistently Excellent Dining Experience From start to finish, every visit to The Venetian is a pleasure. The quality of both the food and the service is consistently outstanding. The kitchen clearly prioritizes fresh ingredients and creative preparation, resulting in dishes that are both delicious and beautifully presented. Beyond the impressive food, the attentive and professional service elevates the entire experience. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for. Pro Tip: Due to its well-deserved popularity, making a reservation, especially on weekends, is highly recommended to guarantee you can enjoy this delightful dining destination. You won't be disappointed!

Love this restaurant - the location, the old school Italian feel of it, but especially the food. We had our family of five and split and anti-pasta salad, two pastas and a pizza and had lots left over to take home. Just a great place to relax and enjoy an outstanding meal.

The veal in the veal piccata was not tenderized. The sauce was excessively acidic. I doubt the cook has ever eaten his creation.

The pepperoni pizza was too salty.

From the comments, it sounds like the original owners sold out 5 or 6 years ago. That might explain the problem.

Had my birthday dinner there with my BF. First timer also. The calamari was the best I have ever eaten anywhere. I ordered a pizza based on previous reviews and was blown away. It was delicious. My BF had the chicken picatta which was just as amazing. Will definitely be planning another visit since there were other dishes I really want to try.

We have been loyal customers for years. We ordered a small mediterranean chicken salad and it was terrible - chicken was cold, rubbery and no candied walnuts! The pizza was okay - not great, but not a huge disappointment. Point Loma deserves better. We miss Frank and Joe!

The Venetian Point Loma is the real deal! The food tastes homemade—like something straight out of grandma’s kitchen. Super chill vibes, great service (shoutout to Quinn for being awesome), and just an all-around solid spot to grab a bite. If you're in the area, you gotta try it!
