I have been here 30+ times. Fantastic local coffee spot for a number of reasons. Always prompt. Always delicious. Vastly superior to chain locations nearby. The coffee itself is balanced perfectly in taste/flavor. Rewards program is fantastic too. Staff is on point.

The salted carmel latte was amazing. They don't take cash unfortunately, also they couldn't make an iced oolong tea for some reason. I'm not gonna rate any lower though because my drink was

I really like this spot once you're able to get parking, because it has a larger interior than I thought it would have, with an open type of setting, and the coffee is good, nothing super fancy but it means all the check boxes to be able to catch up with someone, which is what a coffee shop should be like compared to the ones where it feels like the coffee is the special boy type of atmosphere. Definitely check this place out, great for grabbing a coffee before heading over to the dog park in Balboa.Parking: Parking in the area is a bit of a pain in the butt, but that's expected for this type of area. I'm sure if you know the area you'd be able to find the right spot.

Parked on the street, metered parking. Save your quarters to save you the hassle of using your card! We walked in, there's only a handful of people here and they are all at the back corner of the coffee shop. Makes sense because the chairs at the window seating are tall, wobbly, and don't have seated backs for them. But it's a lovely spot because of the bright lighting (tall windows). They have a few tables outside for sitting. Seems like it's pet friendly because there was the sweetest black dog seated in the back corner. We got hot salted caramel latte, size large. It's only $1 difference from the small so we went with the large. Even though we drank inside the shop, it was served in a paper cup. They used to serve in ceramic, but not anymore I guess. Personally, I found the hot salted caramel latte to be too salty! That first sip, omg salty like the sea. I usually get iced salted caramel and enjoy that 100% more. Perhaps it was because it came hot it tasted more pronounced- sometimes drinks taste more flavorful when they are served hot. I think this was the case. My aunt enjoyed hers, she said the caramel was smooth and rich which she liked a lot. Compared to the other places that use liquid syrup, this place tasted like they make their own salted caramel to sweeten their latte! I'd definitely recommend this coffee shop to try! It's a great place to come and work on things as well. The atmosphere is bright, warm, and welcoming. It was a bit quiet, but don't be afraid to hold a conversation in here with your friends because it's not a library-- it's a coffee shop! The music was lovely too~

Awesome coffee shop in the heart of bankers hill with some tasty breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. Fast, friendly service, great atmosphere and not silly expensive. Everything was fresh and tasty!

I called to place a phone order because I have a short lunch...it kept ringing and no one picked up, so I had to go there to order. When I got there all the employees where gathered by the cashier just chat chatting and laughing no wonder they didn't pick up lol. Other than that my acai was pretty good and fruit was fresh

In addition to the incredibly flavorful breakfast sandwiches (I get #1) and hot cocoa, my wife and I receive the type of outstanding customer service that’s become so rare these days at other establishments. And it has a cool vibe and is within walking distance of Balboa Park, Hillcrest, and Bankers Hill. My only criticism is that sandwiches are pretty pricey after you add the meat, which is a $2.00 upcharge (i.e., $10.00 for Sandwich #1, $9.75 for Sandwich #2, etc.).Dietary restrictions: They offer milk substitutes such as almond and oat for hot cocoa.

Sad to see that they do not value the environment by not providing ceramic cups. Oversight by corporate management.

A fun find close to downtown and Balboa.I loved that they had a gluten free lemon poppy which was pretty good! The cinnamon honey latte was a bit $$ but overall was good and they had a few alternative milk options.

Service was fast! Matcha latté was decent! Had too much coffee earlier so I had to switch. Design of the space is gorgeous!!!
