Recent Reviews

This was my second visit to The Yasai, and I think the menu has changed for the better. A group of four of us visited and I was the only vegan. Thankfully, a single menu incorporates the items that can be ordered from the three other non-vegan restaurants that are attached, and a separate vegan menu is for the Yasai. The others ordered non-vegan entrees and I decided on the Dream Come True. Unfortunately, all of their entrees came out first and most of them were at least 2/3 done...

As a vegetarian I usually only get a couple options at sushi restaurants so I was SO excited to get an entire bento box with all vegan options!!!!!! It was so much fun and super delicious! Also nut allergy friendly :)

Ramen and vegan sushi were excellent. Crispy gyoza OK, would not order again. Service was haphazard. We expected the gyoza as an apitizer. The Ramen was served a good 10 minutes before the gyoza arrived and then it took as another 10 to get the Dragon Roll. The real issue was the painful noise level. I had a headache within minutes of sitting down. It got quieter later, but I will never try this place again. The design amplifies the noise.
