The food was very good, but the service was not.
The man who took my to-go order at the register was a bit rude. I wanted to order two Combo 1s, and when he asked me, “Combo 1 or 2?” I misunderstood and thought he was asking how many I wanted, so I answered “two.”
When I looked at the receipt and saw that I had been charged for two Combo 2s instead, I went back to the register to let them know. The same man came over, and even after I tried to explain and apologized , admitting it was my fault for misunderstanding but he continued to act rude and dismissive.
It was good, if you like these rice cakes and Vietnamese ham.
Drinks were good the food was fresh.
Mom&pop shop!
They need to turn on AC, too hot in there.
Delicious, unique and affordable!
The space is counter service, clean and casual. The service was quick, brought us water to our table despite being counter service which was really nice.
The Banh Mi Chao #1 was something I never had. The meatballs and beef were so flavorful and the sauce mixed with eggs is delicious.
The Special #2 was very good, the banh cuon with egg and pork and the banh cuon with shrimp were soft, warm, filling and all at an affordable price. Overall, amazing food and place that you can't easily find in San Diego.
Coffee and Food was amazing
Definitely fresh made food. Their steam rice roll is really tasty, just like authentic Cantonese steam rice roll.
The best Banh Cuon place in San Diego
Great place to grab breakfast. The owner is very nice and the food is delicious. Recommended
Special #1 and Chau #1 were yummy! Vietnamese Egg coffee, matcha smoothie and Vietnamese milk coffee were all very good. The bread you got was perfect for dipping. Not the typical Vietnamese food and so yummy!
Amazing banh cuon. Large portions. The pork and shrimp combo was enough for two to share
First time try Vietnamese breakfast, very good! Lots of choices!

We went on a Sunday for lunch not knowing that it was such a popular place. You can order takeout or wait to be seated. There's a sign in sheet on the door and they call you inside when there's a table available. We waited about 30 mins.
It's counter order and pretty casual. They will bring your orders to your table. I ordered the Vietnamese banh cuon with pork dish. It was delicious but I wish their fish sauce was a little stronger.
My friend tried their breakfast. He wasn't a fan of the beef slices and thought the breakfast was ok. He ordered their egg coffee which was like Vietnamese coffee with cheese foam.
Parking is an issue. There are not enough parking spaces for all the businesses in the plaza. No street parking either.
