Tasty Vietnamese breakfast at Thien Huong at Mira Mesa! We really enjoyed the special 2 roll with egg, pork, and ground shrimp and the Chao 2 with meatball, Vietnamese ham, eggs and hot dog. The egg coffee and ube coffee were also quite yummy. Friendly and sweet staff with quick service. Recommend!

Wow! I stopped here on a whim and it was amazing. The plate with all the meats and eggs and rice is delicious and comforting. I'll be back for sure!

This place made me fall in love with Mediterranean food. The hummus, falafel, and lamb skewers were bursting with flavor.

best summer meal. big portion, my first try of viet roll, i esp like the shrimp roll. Dont miss the sauce, def highlight of the meal, viet milk coffee is great, very rich in flavor, bitter, if u not comfortable with that, u may need to wait a while for ice melting to dilute the coffee. expect long queue in lunch hours

Review is for the service management. I’ve had no issues with them before, but this time I had to leave a review. We ordered 2 special 1’s with coffee to go. They said about 20 min wait, as it was a holiday and it was busy with no tables available. It’s been 40+ min when we finally got our takeaway orders, and we noticed they already served other parties’ takeaway orders who came in after us as well as sat down other customers who came 5-10 min after us and were on the waitlist.

This is unacceptable. At least for next time underpromise and over deliver instead of the opposite.

Excellent banh cuon! Very soft and fresh. It's getting harder and harder to find good, non-stale, banh cuon. The fillings were super tasty. Note that the shrimp is fresh shrimp, not dry. The nuoc mam (fish sauce) was wonderfully tasty while not having an overpowering garlic flavor. Because they're made fresh, expect to wait a bit, but the wait is not terribly long. This place gets busy and they don't have a ton of space. Maybe about 10 to 15 tables. If all tables are filled, they'll start their waitlist outside on a clip board.

Have been going here for sometime, but the food had gone down tremendously. The filling barely have ground pork, mostly jicama or onions. The wait is long since they are slow as it is made, and being small you will wait. Will not come back.

The food was very good, but the service was not.
The man who took my to-go order at the register was a bit rude. I wanted to order two Combo 1s, and when he asked me, “Combo 1 or 2?” I misunderstood and thought he was asking how many I wanted, so I answered “two.”
When I looked at the receipt and saw that I had been charged for two Combo 2s instead, I went back to the register to let them know. The same man came over, and even after I tried to explain and apologized , admitting it was my fault for misunderstanding but he continued to act rude and dismissive.

It was good, if you like these rice cakes and Vietnamese ham.

Drinks were good the food was fresh.

Mom&pop shop!
They need to turn on AC, too hot in there.

Delicious, unique and affordable!
The space is counter service, clean and casual. The service was quick, brought us water to our table despite being counter service which was really nice.
The Banh Mi Chao #1 was something I never had. The meatballs and beef were so flavorful and the sauce mixed with eggs is delicious.
The Special #2 was very good, the banh cuon with egg and pork and the banh cuon with shrimp were soft, warm, filling and all at an affordable price. Overall, amazing food and place that you can't easily find in San Diego.
