This was super yummy. I've never had the skillets here, but the flower paper dishes are delicious. Having them in little Saigon in Orange County, this is the best spot that is close to that caliber here in San Diego. I definitely recommend.

My first time trying this type of Vietnamese food. I have never had rice rolls before. I'm not sure what all the items are in the dish, but they were all pretty tasty. I got the Special #2 with egg, ground pork, and ground shrimp. The lady who took my order was very friendly. I will come back again!

Ordered a couple sandwiches and spring rolls. Everything was tasty and it finally satiated my Vietnamese food fix! My server was a doll and just made the dining experience a delight.

The steam rice rolls with sausage and egg was fun to eat, the overall taste is on the sweet side. Some of my friends have a problem of eating sweet sausage. If you are new to this kind of food, order a sample plate to try before getting one for everyone.

I'll preface: I like these dishes but they're not my favorite Vietnamese dishes out there. The original banh cuon (steamed rice rolls) were good here. The rolls were soft and delicate, and the meat filling tasted great. The accompanied ham though just tasted very basic. Their dipping sauce could also be more flavorful and perhaps spicier and sweeter. Bo ne (meat & eggs on a sizzler) is all the rage right now. It was good but I think very overpriced. The different proteins tasted good but nothing was extraordinary to warrant a $16 dish that wasn't too filling. The meats all tasted individualized. I wish they went better together. Ambiance was very casual as you order at the counter and seat yourself. Service was friendly and there's a parking lot. If you're looking for these dishes in San Diego, this is definitely the place to go as it's hard to find these specialized dishes around town.

I have to give this place 5 Stars on the fish sauce they made. It's amazing! However, we paid on the card and the cashier lady asked me to sign on the screen, I didn't see any suggestion for tips shown on the screen, so I just signed. We leaved cash for tip before left, but we find out they have automatically charged 15% tip for two of us! 1. They should not automatically charged 15% tip without asking or show options for customer to decide. 2. They should not automatically charge 15% tip for 2 the party of two. Watch out your receipt if you don't want to be fooled!

All in all, I love this place! Vietnamese rice rolls are super nostalgic for me, and I'm so glad a spot opened up in Mira Mesa. I've been here a few times already, and it's always a go to when I want Vietnamese food but not quite pho. I usually get the specials for the rice rolls, and my husband loves the hot plate dishes with the crispy and soft french bread. Their Vietnamese iced coffee also packs a punch!

First impression review: I don't normally eat Vietnamese food outside of banh mi and pho, so I was excited to try this place; the pictures of their food look good. I shared the Chau #1 with one other person and felt like that was perfect portion for the two of us. It came with meatball, hot dog, beef, 2 eggs, and a bread roll. There are other Banh Mi Chau to choose from with different proteins. Everything on the plate tasted great. The sauce was tasty and kind of sweet. All the proteins were cooked nicely and good flavor. It was delicious dipping the bread in the sauce. The dish is $16 which I think is a little pricy, especially if it wasn't shared by more than one person. It comes with a breadroll and an extra one cost $1/each. The service is friendly from the lady at the register and food came out in about 10 min max. Establishment is clean and has a handful of tables that were all almost taken around 12pm on a Sunday. Will def be back

Love this place in Mira Mesa! It's been the best banh mi chao and banh cuong place that I didn't know I was craving! Coming from LA/OC, I have pretty high standards for Vietnamese food and this place has hit it out of the park time and time again. The service is fast as you order at the front and wait for your food to be delivered (or for take out). Seating is self service and you can choose from a decent amount of spots. When we went in December they played Christmas music and inside had a jolly vibe as everyone was eating breakfast together. Food came out hot and fresh and we were so excited to dig into the babh mi chao. Pro tip to mix the egg and pate together to make a delicious concoction.
