This bar is not recommended. It’s completely unsuitable if you have children, as they are absolutely not welcome here—at least not unless they sit perfectly still and silent in a corner. The bartender even threatened to kick us out if our friends’ daughter made another loud noise. So, if you’re planning to meet up with friends and kids, it’s better to avoid this place—unless you enjoy being thrown out.
I had a fun at "Long Story Short" (first Thursday night of each month). Good crowd, good beer, good stories.
We had a family member in town over 4th of July, and decided to do a pub crawl through North Park. When we arrived at Thorn St Brewery, we were pleasantly surprised at the location and thought it was a cool spot. Unfortunately, that is where the good time ended. We ordered saisons, and they tasted awful. They were sour and olive flavored. Not sure if th bar tender mixed up the beer we were supposed to get or if the beer was just that bad.
Good service, lots of space to hang out and play games or watch sports. Beer is ALL good! They currently have a cookie pairing available, beers matched with Girl Scout cookies ? Fun way to try more beers and eat cookies! Otherwise, hit up the food truck outside for tasty grub!
I just like the beer and the people. Also the dogs.
Merry ChristmasFun afternoon, having beers with our friend. Thank you, Joseph, for taking of us.
Great selection of brews. The noodle truck provided awesome food to go with a nice cold brew.
Small brewpub with a well curated selection and a low key vibe. Nice place.
A nice place with tasty beverages and two rooms
Definitely a very chill place. Considering the large space there was limited seating which I guess is why they set a few tables outside for extra seating. The staff and the regulars are certainly friendly and very inviting but for some reason this place fit a bit off. Who knows, it could just have been the time of day I was there but if Friday Happy Hour doesn’t send off good vibes than what does? ??♂️ Don’t let me be a keyboard warrior here because everyone’s experiences will always vary but for me, this wasn’t it. Check the place out, grab some food, and see for yourself. Still all about keeping it local! Enjoy.

Thorn is a great local brewery spot in north park!
Excellent micro brewery. And having associated food trucks in front of the establishment in the evening is a very good idea.

Reviewing a brewery :) this is my first time. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. The bartender was vey friendly! I tried an IPA (I always think that I would like IPA but I finish it off with regret ) . Don't get me wrong, it was good but not my fav. I used the 25 cent checkin bonus and got a pale ale that was more suited to my taste.I think the only REAL complaint that I had was that he food truck opened half an hour later and I felt that there weren't as many options. On the plus side, they had cans of beer like sour beer or kombucha which was cool
This is such a great neighborhood brewery. Great beer, friendly employees and patrons. Dog friendly! Pretty much always have a food truck on site, too.
