Thyme for lunch Cafe & Grill

We visited Thyme for Lunch for brunch on a week day. It was pretty empty when we arrived around 10am but soon got busy at lunch time. This restaurant is in an area with many businesses around so I imagine that's a lot of their customers.

It's a cute restaurant with an open kitchen. The cashiers were nice and checked on us often.

I ordered the Verde chilaquiles and it was ok. The tortilla chips were thick, nice and crunchy. They weren't soggy and smothered in salsa. But it was pretty plain. I put on more salsa and that helped. It came with (dry) refried beans and rice.
My friends ordered their 2 eggs plate and it was humongous. They didn't finish theirs. Another friend ordered their acai bowl and she liked hers. The green machine smoothie was good too.

Typical order and sit grill. You order at the counter, take a number, find a seat and the food will be delivered.

Since this is a one off review, I give Thyme for Lunch high marks. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was quickly delivered. The burrito was everything I was looking for and the salsa on side was the bomb. Slightly spicy but very flavorful.

Great little spot with amazing food and drink options, including everything from sandwiches to craft coffee and acai bowls. Decent craft beer aelection, too. Always friendly , helpful service. It's not often a sandwich that comes with delicious lime pasta salad !

Good food and great staff, only slight drawbacks were the location is fairly hard to find for your first time and the outdoor seating was limited. Super large portions and low prices more than make up for any inconvenience getting here, though! Highly recommend. 8/10

Came for a weekday lunch and had the B-appled panini which includes the pasta salad for $13. Prices are fair. Outdoor seating is picnic table style. The wait staff are fantastic! Came to ask if we needed the heater on, how the food was, and read my mind that I needed a to go box.I lost or dropped my valuable there and went to retrieve it the next day with everything in tact. Super appreciate the honesty and integrity of the staff and patrons here! Would love to come back for breakfast sometime.
