Yummy food, friendly staff. The only thing I don't like is how loud the bar area gets in the evening when you're trying to eat in the restaurant area. That might be more of a "me" issue, though. And they need a bigger parking lot. But with all that said, I have many fond memories of Tio Leo's from as far back as I can remember. We've been going to Tio Leo's for over 20 years . My family usually goes there for birthdays and other special events or just to have a casual lunch or dinner. Food has always been great. Some of the servers have been there as long as we've been going which is nice.

Service was bad. The female waitress was unresponsive. Service was better at the Mission Gorge location when it was open. The bus boy helped us more than the waitress. We won't be coming back here.

Food is fine. Music and venue are good. I feel sorry for the bartenders. They only had two on tonight with a packed venue for the band. This suxks for tue staff and the customers. It is ridiculous hard it is to get a drink or order food. Sadly I became a jerk when we needed to clear our tab. Our bartender was asked to clear our tab and after 20 min I got pissed and got angry. I regret acting like this but time for management to add another bartender

Great.music but the food is horrible. It's unfortunate because they could really elevate with quality food. Everything else is great. Example: order the Carne asada tacos and 2 of 5 were raw. I like medium rear meet but they were raw with zero flavor.

The Dreamboat Band was playing and I loved every song‼ Kelsey waited on us, and even though she was really busy she took great care of us. She is knowledgable, capable and really nice/fun!!

I visited Tio Leo's to check out the live music since my friend was singing. I arrived around 7:45pm on Saturday, 3/9 and wowza the energy was electric! Lots of people were dancing, socializing and overall enjoying themselves. The band that was performing, Detroit Underground was fantastic! It was crowded by the time I arrived so I posted up at the bar and ordered a Smokey Leo margarita with mezcal, it was OK. I ordered two crispy fish tacos with pinto beans and rice and I would say the beans were good, the fish was a good sized portion although it was a little too on the crispy side for my taste. I would say it was a decent meal given that I planned to dance and have a cocktail or two. Otherwise, there was indeed dancing and the folks were really there to have fun, no pushy men, just nice humans wanting to have a fun night. I would come back with a friend or two for the music!
Tio Leo's is my favorite Mexican food restaurant. I love the salsa and the chips. I love all of the food that I've tried. The service is very fast usually. The Cadillac margaritas are my favorite. The red enchilada sauce is also my favorite. Whenever I'm choosing the restaurant this is the place I go.

We went on Sunday evening during their jazz concert series. The bar restaurant fills up quickly, so get there early to grab dinner beforehand. We got a carne asada burrito & a tostada supreme. Both were tasty & well priced.
