Drove to get some birria. Arrived at 5:42pm. Worker told me they were closed cause the owner doesn’t let the employees stay overtime to clean… open sign was on and the buisness hours are listed to be open till 6:00pm. Love the food here but after wasting my time, I won’t be bringing my buisness back

Stopping here wasn’t planned but boy I’m so glad I walked in. The birria consomé was perfectly spicy and beefy and delicious, the tacos, the tostabirria and the quesabirria were all fantastic. Ended up taking two quarts of birria to go, along with some flour tortillas that were just crazy good and some corn tortillas as well. I will stop here again next time I come by to San Diego.

Recently, I got an order for pickup, once I got home, I realized that my order was not what I had ordered, the tacos had old tortillas, only ate the meat. I called to let them know in case my real order wasn’t picked up and they could fix it. The person that answered, said that the order I took( making it sound as it was my fault) was more expensive, either I wanted to go back and pay the difference or go back and return the wrong order.
I completely understand that mistakes are made but at least take responsibility for it and don’t try to charge customers for food they didn’t order and that you gave them to them.
