Food was surprisingly great and quick. Hit the spot when we were hungry. We left happy and plan to try it again another time. We love their banchan.

It seems like they don't know much about Korean food. The prices aren't cheap either. The service is just so-so.

First experience with Korean food & was very pleased. Didn't really know what to get so I got what looked like something in my comfort range. It was great. It came out quickly and was super tasty. Wasn't crazy expensive either.

This a Korean restaurant not run by Koreans. The food isn't bad, but it won't give you the Korean flavors you may be looking for. Seemed to be pretty ok with non Korean Asians.

Dining room could use better ventilation, especially with so many skillet dishes on the menu. Meat may be questionable. Ordered chicken for meat option on a rice dish, and it came out like ground chicken. I don't think I've ever really seen that before

There is very little tofu, and there are only four accompanying cold dishes, and the portion is very small

Tofu house is the Pride of Mira Mesa! We were talking while we were eating about how we hope that it is still here 100 years in the future, it’s such a great dining experience. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Note they no longer bring you menus. Only a scan code. I do not feel it necessary to give every restaurant my personal information and hate that more and more are going away from menus. They do have menus on the walls. Additionally, we have eaten at the restaurant 8 times and it's always been the same. Until today. Today the stone bowl came out too hot and burnt the bottom of my food. I stirred and stirred but it wasn't enough. Finally, the bulgogi was super thin and not as delicious as it was before. Overall quality today was less than desired. Hopefully it was a fluke but it will be some time before we go back.

Plain Tofu soup, cardboard-like fish cake fries, weird taste bulgogi. I am not coming back.

Mixed experience. The food is good. The staff could improve on being more welcoming which would improve the atmosphere. Chef, came out to ask if the food was good making the experience more personable. The waiter needs a little bit of training on flexibility with the customer. For example swapping sides on different combos. Also being called the Tofu House I'd recommend creating more options that are vegetarian friendly. Overall a good experience. Just needs a little bit of improvement on customer service from all employees, not just one.

The food is mediocre. We like the food at the other Tofu House on Convoy and thought the food would be as good at this Tofu House in Mira Mesa. Nope! We were wrong. The main dishes were below average. One of their condiments, looked like fish cake, tasted as dry as sliced cardboard. Next time when we crave for Korean food, we'll drive a bit further to Convoy/Kearny Mesa for much better Korean food experience.

Fast, delicious, no fuss type of restaurant. I can come here and consistently get the same service and quality of food everytime. This place is a staple for me.

A place actually called "Tofu House" serves big cubes of unseasoned tofu.
