Cool dive bar great food but customer service could use improvement arrived the other night to be rushed by the bartender named Ryan with a bad attitude I told him I was helped already and he insisted that he helped me asking me what I wanted when I told him I already was being helped by the lady bartender I felt intimidated and uninvited by him he was difficult to be around he later walked by me when I was playing pool and shook his head at

A great local dive bar where you can get really drunk for cheap. Very intimate and small location. Cool little spot. Would recommend

Good wings. And good sandwiches. Great drink choices. I will be definitely going back and telling others about this place. I could eat the cha cha wing sauce on everything. Great service too by bartenders.

I have been looking for a bar that is a dive with great food, great wine, great service and bitchin ambiance. This my friends, is it. Nestled in a strip mall parking lot is a bar that exemplifies what a great bar should be. The chicken wings were delicious and not freezer burned like most places you go to. There was a sort of Pho flavor depth that was wonderful to dip into house made ranch dressing. The housemade potato chips were crisp and so tasty that they went so fast! My happiness truly came from being able to order a classy glass of Justin wine instead of awful house wine. THANK YOU for being amazing TomKat!!

To my surprise, this place is actually quite decent for a dive bar! Their Tom Cat's wings are really good. We got other appetizers such as fried mushrooms, fries, all were good. The only thing is bar food is quite oily so don't expect the healthiest food here but a great cheat meal.

Let me be clear: THEY DONOT HAVE FREE CHICKEN WINGS ON FRIDAY HAPPY HOUR I say this because a google review (that I'm still trying to find its validity) led me to think they did, hence leading us to Tom Cat Bar. The bartender looked at me like I was a good but kindly said that there is no such thing as free wings at Tom Cats since the three years he's been there. Hopefully someone can take care of that review. But it's all good, we still ended up getting the wings, Tom Cat Style and BBQ. The Tom Cat Style wasn't as spicy as we expected since it came with a whopping (highest spice level). If I ate the jalapeños whole, which I'd never dare myself, it would be spicy for me. My man ate every last thing on his plate and was fine. To each their own when it comes to spice. The BBQ honestly was for some sauciness and to chase the spice if needed. Wings were 12.50 each. Beer was .50 off for happy hour. We went with 805 which is officially my go to beer (I've graduated from my modelo days ‍) Dive bar vibe. The place was nicely filled throughout our time there. Table and bar seating, a pool table, tvs, and what I believe was a modernized juke box were the noticeable amenities of the space.

Lemon pepper wings are the best. Service is always good and drinks always hit the spot.

Very very busy Tavern where you can see lot of people coming there since last several years, once in a while me and my family get craving's for their signature wings, we got there to get the wings nothing else stands better than these, while waiting for my order I try get some of their drinks and they can make any/most of mixed drinks and they are very very generous about the quantities. They have best draft beers from both and national and local breweries and they know how to serve the beer at right temperature.

I was beginning to be a regular here, but not anymore. I accidentally forgot to close out my tab and left my card in their possession for two nights. When I realized, I checked my bank statements. One of the workers used my card for Uber eats, so I needed to report the fraud and cancel the card. How disgraceful. Don't trust them with your card. I will not be back.

Great service and welcoming staff. It was my first time there and a friend and I met to grab a quick bite and gave a drink. I grabbed a table and was greeted within 7 minutes by an employee who welcomed me and asked if I needed menus and I also asked for 2 waters. The bar food was good, not that I should eat it all the time but it's better than some established restaurants that I've been to. They have plenty of tv's for sports and I think at least 2 pool tables. I'd definitely go back although it's not that close to me.

I love this place. Sort of dive bar atmosphere, so don't go here if you're looking to impress your date with posh presentation of overpriced food. But if you want to relax, have great food, and feel like the wait staff is genuinely invested in you... this is your place.Pretty good tap selection.Great wings- among San Diego's best.

I walked out of Tomcat bar & grill in Mira Mesa after waiting 50 minutes for a NY steak medium rare and the barmaid said don't worry about it and come to find out this morning she charged my card and tipped herself generously. This place is a Ripoff. I'm very disappointed.
