Disappointing. Even for airport pizza.
Got a calzone that’s more like a bland & dry hot pocket.
Got a pizza that tasted like a stale saltine cracker despite all the expensive ingredient
-hardly any sauce on/in either.
no inspiration behind the fire…
-Watered down sauce
- skimpy proportions on ingredients
- the people were nice though

The lady was so rude while inquiring about price related breakdown, though the pasta was not bad, yet over priced

Tommy V’s Pizzeria — Terminal 2 West, SAN
Experience Highlights:
Brick‑oven fresh pies crafted with San Marzano tomatoes, real mozzarella, and local produce—offering a touch of Tomaso Maggiore’s Carlsbad/Del Mar style in the airport setting .
Friendly & efficient service, with staff often praised for being welcoming—even during busy travel hours .
Creative topping combos, like pineapple & red onion or pesto—ideal if you’re looking for something beyond typical airport fare .

Don’t recommend. I can accept the high price since it’s an airport, but this pizza was actually the worst I ate the last 2-3 years for sure. The dough was super hard like a cardboard. This pizza probably sat a while, it was soaked in fat for some time

Extremely rude staff, who don't understand what you are saying and it's hard to understand them. Extremely overpriced cardboard pizza. Burnt pizza

It’s an airport food court, and over 30 minutes for your order? It’s a food court! At an airport! We had 40 minutes to grab some food and get to our gate, lots of time, as long as you don’t try to order pizza here. For context, folks in our group ordered elsewhere, ate, shopped, came back and we were still waiting on the pizza. Just ridiculous. Avoid unless your layover is hours long and you feel like waiting forever for food court pizza.

I really enjoyed the Pizza with pineapple and red onion! I was looking for a more fresh prepared pizza and nothing like Dominos or other fast food Pizza restaurants. The cashier was a very friendly woman and also the other woman that prepared the pizza had a lovely smile on her face. They were very kind and I can recommend to eat pizza there. As a woman growing up in Europe and having tried Pizza in Naples, Italy I would give this place a 7.5/10 It’s a little expensive but so is everything at the airport and for a Pizza at the airport it’s quite good.

I had a long layover at the San Diego airport on February 17, 2024. We ordered and enjoyed a great brick oven pizza. I attempted to order another slice but slices were not sold so I returned to my seat. Fifteen minutes later the pizza man brought me a whole pizza and would not accept any money for the pizza or tip. This was truely a remarkable experience at a remarkable Pizzeria.

Ridiculously overpriced..Probably the most expensive pizza I have had . I was using a mental math . 10 g olives that they put in the pizza $2.50 ..The cheese pizza which is a small pizza starts at $14 plus taxes. OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED
