Tony's Fresh Mexican Food

Wow bro never been more disappointed I went on October 16-2025 and wow I’m very unplessed, I order a been cheese and rice burrito and my friend order a fries and added pico lettuce beans sour cream Guacamole . The total was about 24$ witch is pretty normal but they charge 2$ for ever side almost. We were in drive thru and when we paired the lady asked for what Sauce you want. We said the green one and we were 2 people and she only gave us 2 packets of sauce.. I asked for more and she proceeded to hand me one more.. I was already pissed off and drove to the shelter island to look at the view and eat and when my friend opens his fries there are no toppings there. They skip out on the sour cream the Guacamole wasn’t there and they just threw a hand ful of lettuce. My friend started to complain and I opened my burrito too and there is no rice. Like wow you guys need to step your game up this is horrible I Paided almost 13$ for what ? I didn’t have time to go back and complains so we ate our food fast because we were getting late for work. PS: the lady with the glasses and the long hair who works at the front usually take the order has probably the worst customer service ever.

This place has the best Mexican food restaurant in San Diego. I travel from East County to eat here. Their fish tacos are amazing with huge servings in each taco. They also give a 4% cash discount now which is nice. My favorite Tony's is the one near Rosecrans. It's very pretty with outdoor seating and a big salea bar. The staff there are also extra nice. The Tony's off of Washington Street is also good. I always recommend this place. Just perfection 👌🏻

Ordered uber eats paid for sour cream and guacamole and got a dry California burrito with fatty flavorless meat. Only resort to this place if you are hammered cause that the only time it’s tolerable

I stopped to grab a breakfast burrito this morning, the cook was multitasking, running the register and making delicious food, he was busy and definitely hustling to get everything out. He did a great job for being on his own this morning! Always great customer service and yummy food!

10$ for a bean and cheese burrito. Man that’s highway robbery.

I'm confused on the pricing here. 5.99 for a small bean and cheese. When you get to the register it's 7.23 with paying cash more if you use card. 1.20$ for tax on 6 dollars is wild. That's 20% tax on their food. Also the receipts don't come with prices so you have no way of knowing where or why there is an extra charge.

Great food, excellent and efficient staff, portions were larger than expected, indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is limited, but you can also drive thru. Great variety of drinks including bottled sodas.

It is not worth it. We told them what not to put on the food more than once, even at the window, and they still got it wrong. The food is so dry.

Food here is okay. I got the california burrito and it's not the same as it use to be years ago. I would rate the california burrito like a 3/10. It was flavorless and the fries weren't fresh. I also had the Asada Fries and it looked better than it tasted. Id rate that one a 4/10. Im assuming the 5 star reviewers never had real delicious Mexican food, no offense guys.

Definitely not worth coming back here.

Love this place. Vegetarian and gluten free friendly (not sure if it's suitable for Celiacs). Limited vegan options, but they'll work with you. Rice and beans are vegan. FRESH pico and salsa! Great service!
