(Sorry, I know you (Toronado) are not a big yelp fan, but I have to leave this here...) So.. you're closing for good. I'm going to miss you Toronado. By far my favorite bar in San Diego. It's gonna put extra pressure on O'Briens Pub (my next favorite bar) to stay open as long as possible to make up for this loss. Alleyway sales in the closing weeks are not quite the bang we would have originally loved to celebrate, but such are the times. The silver lining is that maybe COVID-19 extended your life artificially another couple weeks. Hope you come back to us one day!

One of my favorite beer bars in North Park. It's a pretty large space and if you go all the way to the back there's a patio. The smokers normally hang out there but its nice to be outside sometimes. They have a great selection of beers with several belgian styles on tap which is not too common. The beers are priced at about 3 or so tiers so you can find a couple beers for something like $4.

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is delicious and the team is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we enjoy a cheerful evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

I am going to see how much of a review I can finish while I wait to close my tab in this mess of a bar. Beer selection is pretty good. I'd imagine most people come for the pliny which you can get here fairly regularly. This place depresses me because this is what qualifies as a good beer bar in north park now. Crowded, bad service, overpriced and underwhelming food. Ahhh I get to check out of this nightmare. Grilled cheese for 14 dollars with 2 tablespoons of tomato soup are you serious? North park real estate is just destroying the restaurant scene into high priced food you can make better at home, but throw bad service on top man and you have the north park restaurant scene in a nutshell.

I recently heard Toronado is scheduled to close in a couple weeks. I guess this is kind of a farewell review of sorts. I've been a fan of Toronado since they allowed patrons to toss a dollar wrapped around a quarter into the ceiling way back when. The vibe has always been cool with a great crowd and they always had a great beer list. The food has always been solid. Tasty and good portions. My only gripe is it's hard to find a table to actually enjoy their food. But hey, I usually came here for a good beer anyway. I'm not sure if they are changing locations or ownership or just shutting down forever. In any case, thanks for the years of great food, beer and a place to enjoy a night out in the area.

Get in here and support not only craft beer...but the mothership that stingily represents great craft beer. Prost!!

Great beer selection with terrible service. You come for the beer. They're one of the only places that keeps Pliny the Elder on tap. It's also one of the few good bars in North Park with a smoking patio.

Heard a lot from friends about the environment, lives up to the hype. Great chill place to be with friends. Great amount of space inside the bar and a roof less area in the back if you like the open air.

Always an excellent beer selection, they started serving non-beer options as well. Tasty food kitchen in the back. Bar staff is freaking rad, but they'll like you better if you made your choice before heading to the bar on busy nights (just a nice thing to do in general, come on people!).

Beer selection was extensive, but not super accessible. Limited number of easy drinkers, for sure, but if you love IPA’s this would be the spot for you. I thought the staff was great, very friendly.
