The best tortilleria in San Diego. Fresh masa everyday, get there early! Also they only accept cash but it's understandable cause it's so cheap. They make tamales around the holidays I believe and they are to die for! Love this tortilleria and strongly recommend it

Best tortillas ever! I moved to the Dallas, TX area and miss these awesome tortillas.....the only ones I have ever found with no preservatives...just corn, water & lime....perfection and inexpensive...I used to buy the 10- dozen bag.

They are good but used to be better. They aren't white corn like before. And some of the counter girls have an attitude. Not friendly at all!!!!

Super delicious corn tortillas made same day! Get there early to get them fresh.

Bad service. Very bad service all the time the people who serve are angry and think they are going to ask for free. They need poor people to serve like the people who go and buy

Beat fresh tortillas!!! On the weekend they have carnitas Which very delicious and they give you their special salsa. Definitely must have. The customer service could be a little better but it is what it is....

I loved them for being thinner than other tortilla shops and fast service, but now they are made with yellow nixtamal and have a very strong smell, they harden very quickly

Freshly made corn tortillas here. I bought a pack of 33 for $2.15! It was still steaming when I got them. Come early before it sells out each day.

As I walked up to the store, I noticed a parking lot nearby so I would try that first. Otherwise, street parking is slim. There were two people in front and two behind me. I asked a woman if she had been there before but she didn't understand much English. I hesitated for a bit and then just went for it: "Cuantas tortillas in el chico?" She gestured a size with her hands which made me so happy that my poor Spanish skills passed the test. The sign i indicated that were media and grande sizes as well. I think my small bag had about 25 tortillas for a minuscule $2.15, cash only. These tortillas were better than any other corn tortilla I've purchased from the supermarket. They were soft without breaking apart. However, they didn't have that chewy texture that some restaurant handmade tortillas have. And, the ones here were very uniform in size. The quality was great for the price.

Cash only. Yelp says this place is closed on Wednesday. However, if you call they might be open until 11 am.

You know you from City Heights when your tortillas are from Lily’s. By far the best tortillas in town. The chips are the best. The tortillas, masa is always fresh and made to order. This is the one thing I miss the most of living in San Diego.
