Pizza was delicious, great crust, fresh toppings. I ordered pick-up which would be way cooler if i could talk to a person, ask questions, etc, but you are told online ordering only through the website. I called and spoke to a person in hopes to avoid that and they just said go online. So no personal touch, not my thing. Points off for that. But once inside the exceptionally busy restaurant, they were pretty attentive, helpful, and fast. Overall its quality pizza with a bit of a wait and good service. Would recommend.

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant last night, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was excellent, and the service truly stood out. Our server, Sol, was outstanding — incredibly polite, attentive, and responsive. He was also a fantastic conversationalist and extremely knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations without being pushy.

Sol elevated our entire dining experience. I’m the type of person who sticks with great service when I find it, and without a doubt, I’ll be back and requesting Sol again. He’s a gem — a true professional who clearly takes pride in his work.

New review-oberta’s, which was one of our favorite pizza places in Brooklyn New York, I used to live a couple of blocks away. We tried that one and we absolutely loved it. I also impressed by their salads, very fresh and well dressed. This time, we celebrated my son’s 7 month birthday there with in laws. We tried one seasonal pizza tributes to a San Francisco pizzeria called The Cheeseboard Collective, they only serve one kind of pizza per day, so unique, right? Surprisingly, this pizza is vegetarian, with a lot of corns and veggies, it was super delicious! So good! We also had a pizza omakase, which I never even heard before, we asked for sausage, no onion, mama’s tray style. The chef made a surprise and it was amazing, very yum, he had bacon in it which is a plus, very creative and delicious. The large size kale salad was great as well, the dressing is kinda Caesar but different, very good. They offered us an ice cream dessert for birthday celebration, it’s olive oil sea salt ice-cream, pretty good! I’ll come back to try other tribute pizzas!
Previous review-This place is super amazing!!! I didn’t know it’s that good even though the Yelp review is already pretty high. It is even better than I thought. We ordered the 5 mushroom pizza, it’s quite yummy, with ricotta cheese on the top. The dough is not thick, more on a light taste side, I love it. The Kale salad is probably one of the top 5 salads in my life. It’s beautiful like a garden, it tastes like a heaven. The most important and impressive thing is that we met an amazing bartender, his name is Scott. He made super duper rye whiskey cocktails. I believe he’s probably good with other liquors too. You can feel the efforts and talents he put into the drinks. We will go back for sure for both the foods and drinks.

Out for dinner on a Friday night with my brother, he made a reservation a week before and excited to try out this location. Upon arrival parking was difficult, it’s a common spot for entertainment and it being the weekend I went straight for a self pay parking lot to pay for parking. Tribute pizza seated us right away customer service was excellent with friendly attentive service the entire time we were there. Place is open a bit loud with great ambience and music everyone just having a great time, I loved the vibes and enthusiasm of the place and how well known the place is every seat was occupied. I let my brother take over and order since he has been there before, we started with roasted garlic Brussel sprouts and woodfired focaccia bread. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and the bacon and cheese gives it all, a must try when visiting. The bread goes well with it, gives it a nice combination to it. When ordering pizza I liked the different options of the crust designs and the specifics to order them for your best liking. Pizzas were excellent and well baked with great flavor I really enjoyed every bite. Overall it was a great experience, I would recommend and looking forward in coming in the future again.

SOLID! Celiac's note: Matt and team KNOW how important cross-contamination of gluten is for us. He was kind enough to make me a GF pie with mushrooms, cheese, and pepperoni and it was fantastic. He also shared a GF ciabatta with me with a variety of sauces. The salads were also fantastic. I am going back with my family (3xGF and 2 who can eat anything)...THANKS Matt and team, we had a great night at the Stocktoberfest VIP dinner.

Seriously one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We got the Brussel sprouts, focaccia with vodka sauce, the Kevin McAllister, and mushroom Whitestone 2.0. Everything was mind-blowingly amazing. The service was phenomenal, the food was fresh and tasted amazing, and it wasn’t overpriced. Thinking about moving to San Diego just to be able to eat here more often. ?

Debateably the best pizza in San Diego
Always a long wait if you do walk in, so you want to either make a reservation or put your name in and go get drinks elsewhere.
The atmosphere is lively, energetic and fun to watch the open kitchen. The staff are friendly and fast considering the crowd.
The cocktails are interesting with a few local distilleries. Definitely worth checking out.
The pizza is definitely american style, taking inspiration from notable pizzerias like Pizzeria Bianco, and it's nice that they even say who they take inspiration from. Overall, definitely worth the effort.

Tribute Pizza has some really delicious pizza!

We were a group of 5. I believe we were walk in...but not too sure. We ordered a lot of food and with alcohol, the bill definitely adds up. I enjoyed the espresso martini the most out of all the drinks I tried!

We ordered:
-silverton chop salad $18
-I kale, i saw, i conquered $18
-detroit ish style: apollonias pepperoni and mikes hot honey $49
-the tribute: the weight in gold $33
-dirty dancin $20
-bees mode $23

Each pie had its own unique flavors! Definitely order some of the salads as they are made fresh and extremely delicious.

There is an added 4% employee benefits surcharge.

Street parking only.

If the line is too long, I would recommend doing a takeout order!

Pizza was okay. Time I got it home it was soggy. (15 min drive)

They forgot two ghost pepper ranches.

My wife did the order on her phone and didn't notice that the tiramisu had booze in it. They didn't ask her for her ID when we picked up the order. So not sure how they are selling boozy tiramisu without checking ID for age. It smelt like pure alcohol.

Overall it was a pretty bad experience. Definitely will not be going back.

Without hyperbole, I genuinely feel this is the best pizza in San Diego. You can just taste how fresh the ingredients are and how much care goes into the meal. Absolutely love talking to the staff too. I asked a waiter, Kevin, about a random picture of someone I saw on the wall that lead to a great conversation about the restraints entire ethos. You can just tell how much they care about what they’re doing and I love that.
