We’ve tried a lot of places on the Neapolitan Top 50 list and this place was pretty disappointing in comparison. The best items we had were the margarita Neapolitan pizza and the focaccia. The other pies we tried were pretty average. The service was unfriendly and one of the waitresses was sick with a bad cold (really hoping we don’t get sick from her). Overall I’d say the pizza here is above average, but not incredible.
I think this is everyone’s favorite pizza spot. The attention to detail and the craft is shown through every aspect of the business from the menu to the dough. If you want pizza, you want Tribute. Also, thank you for offering an additional delicious vegan menu. Highly recommended reservations.
The BEST pizza! I have tried many pizzas here in San Diego and let me tell you this is the BEST! I love how they put the inspiration of the pizzas on the menu, and it’s authentic. Hearing the waiters tell you the stories of how these pizzas come to life show you just how much the owner cares about what gets put on your plate.
