DO NOT COME HERE!
I have always enjoyed coming to True North for the music and a good time with friends. But last night I was really disappointed and I’m truly at a loss for words. Before the end of the night, I closed my tab and then the server came back around to my intoxicated friend and recharged her the same tab that I had just paid. If taking advantage of your customers is the way you run your business.. you should be ashamed of yourselves. Definitely just lost a group of customers.

Loooool what is this place. A $5 cover to get into a bar with mediocre music. I didn’t realize we were in the ghetto, be ready for the pat down from their security team.
I had fun waiting as 4 bartenders were unable to service more than one person every 5 minutes. While you’re disassociating from reality during your wait, you can enjoy some nice space themed slideshows on the tvs.
East LA, I barely knew you. Glad to see they’re trying to bring it to North Park.
Tay (I believe) behind the bar, know we love you
Just went in there and sat a bar. Thirteen total people in the entire restaurant. Couldn't get service. One bartender eating Flaming Hot Cheetos and checking his phone. The other one was talking and joking with Flaming Hot Cheeto man. Sitting there 15 minutes before I realized they aren't going to serve me! Oh well, headed to Fairplay!.
March 17 2019 waiting for one ok rock
They no longer have a kitchen, you can order from Encontro down the block. You can call but I walked down and ordered a burger and fries. They walked down with the food in a go to box, with cold fries and a very soggy burger.
I took one bite and tossed it all on the trash and walked over to Crazy Burger for a beer and a fresh burger and fries.
Nice place for beer and watching TV. Just eat first.
Great location but this bar is run down and extremely filthy. Plastic pint glasses that smell like they have never been washed. Some of the bartenders seem to be either drunk or on pills, really uncomfortable feeling and definitely not going back.
Lil crazy at times but fun place and good bartenders

Tasty sandwich and fries at a good price; great cold drafts selection; terrific, attentive staff all around. Great place to watch a game too.

Service on a Saturday was very weak, 1 person behind the bar servicing a full house. 1 person running food, bar lady wasn’t happy to be at work. Great potential but disappointed with overall service and attitude
