Great food, amazing service, you will smell a bit smoky on your way out, but I’ll see as part of the experience. I’ll recommend it. Great place

First time, ordered a US Wagyu Combo with 4 types of cuts (total 14 oz or 398gr) and a salad (no rice), and just tea. Reasonable amount for 2. Nice place for japanese style and seasonings BBQ, grilled at your table. Recommend this place.

BEST JAPANESE BBQ SPOT EVER! My family have been consistently coming to this resturant for years to celebrate any special occasions or birthdays. The meat, rice, side dishes, and rice are always delicious. The staff are welcoming, accomodating, and even recognize my family now. I highly reccomend the family combo as it offers a good balance of beef variety and value, especially for larger parties. The portions are not the largest and on the pricier side but I think it's worth it for the quality over quantity. Free parking but it's difficult to find available spots especially at night, as expected of Convoy tho. The restroom is nothing special, single room, and in the back next to the kitchen. Will definitely continue to eat here !!

Excellent dinner with my family. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant or attentive staff. The chow was excellent. We can't wait to go back.
If you're new to Asian Bbq places in SoCal keep in mind that some are all-you-can-eat and cost approx $35 pp. They are great places to go but definitely offer lower grade meats. This is not Tsuruhashi as they are an a la carte restaurant. Higher grade meats (A5) and approx $100 pp.
Think Outback/Applebee's vs Capital Grille/Ruth's Chris.
We were able to get seats right away around 6:15 But later it was all packed.
We ordered premium beef tongue pork belly and premium ribs. These were absolutely delicious and good quality.
We were told that no appetizers are included so we ordered edamame which was good
Later we added kabocha peppers and family combo meat. Turned out we felt the combo meat was less in quality though more quantity. But the vegetables were very fresh and delicious.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. When it was fully packed it was very lively.

Food was amazing but very overpriced for the amount of steak you get. Id reccomend getting something else japanese and save the money. We got the wagyu platter wich was like nothing 6oz 2 medium rice 1 asahi bear and 5 pieces of thin pork and 20$ steak 5 pieces and it was 160$. Highly reccomend else where

New tablet system was a bit clunky when I was there. Overall great place to eat premium beef.

Restaurantji Recommends
The restaurant serves good food, but at an obscene price. The “family combo” was the size of a single person meat platter at any decent shabu or bbq. Snack before showing up. A5 ends up being decently priced for some reason??? But other beef is not.

Great. The best bbq in this area. You pay for quality over quantity but i would highly recommend you choose this. Wagyu cuts were great.
good food but the portions are small and pretty overpriced.
Food was really authentic! Service was great!

The meat is decent however the place is way over priced and you do not get your money worth of food. I recommend it for people who don’t care to spend a $100 and not feel full after. I had to go grab a burger after I was still super hungry
