Delicious fish right from the Pacific Ocean
Had some really fresh seafood.
Best seafood monger in San Diego county in my opinion. Not only is the fish as fresh as it gets. He tries to buy as local as possible to support our local fisherman. The premade ceviches and salads are to die for. Don’t forget to ask questions and look at the other products on the shelves. He’s got some true gem products. Highly recommended.
Tourist trap. Overpriced for what you get. You can try if you are curious since it’s cool to eat literally on the harbor but it’s not good
Locally caught fresh seafood.
Super good tacos, but expect a long wait!
Great prices and fresh seafood
I love this place and come here all the time when we need fresh seafood,
but the folks selling crabs today were a real letdown.
At first, it looked like they had the usual good ones,
and they told people there was just one container left.
Then out of nowhere, they brought in more crabs —
but those were in no shape to be sold.
They mixed those bad or rotten ones in with the last batch,
and since there were people waiting behind me,
I couldn’t check what was inside myself.
When I got home, it turned out that out of 10 crabs,
one smelled like sewage so I had to toss it,
one had already laid eggs, and two were starting to rot.
I steamed six of them, and even one of those was inedible.
The people selling crabs today were just plain unethical.
I really hope the market kicks them out or at least gives them a serious warning.
Good food but with limited seating area. Lunch only!
Lots of fresh fish sold by local fisherman. Nice little stall serving food made out of the fresh catch - poke bowls, tuna skewers, sushi rolls, ubed balls, fish tacos, ceviche and more. Both ubed balls and tuna skewers were great, very flavorful served with delicious rice, kimchi and grilled vegetables. Can get a bit busy, and some of the options get sold out by 9am. It is a pity it is open only on Saturdays. Definitely worth a visit!

Simple fresh fish market with fresh prepared food and cheap caught today fish.
Fresh catch of the day
fresh fish
I’ve gone a couple times now. We have gotten uni and some other fish from the vendors. Overall good quality fish. Prices are decent. They do sell out so go early if you can.
Parking can be difficult if you go later in the day. Parking is free if you go early as well.
We did get the food from the stall as well. The food was good, but pretty pricy. The uni was fresh and large. The collar was good as well. Overall great fish market. The food stall is good, but pricy for what they give.
Great Uni hand roll! Expect to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Worth every bit of it. It is hot in the sun so wear a hat. Get there early because the great stuff sells out fast
