Lots of fresh fish sold by local fisherman. Nice little stall serving food made out of the fresh catch - poke bowls, tuna skewers, sushi rolls, ubed balls, fish tacos, ceviche and more. Both ubed balls and tuna skewers were great, very flavorful served with delicious rice, kimchi and grilled vegetables. Can get a bit busy, and some of the options get sold out by 9am. It is a pity it is open only on Saturdays. Definitely worth a visit!

I’ve gone a couple times now. We have gotten uni and some other fish from the vendors. Overall good quality fish. Prices are decent. They do sell out so go early if you can.

Parking can be difficult if you go later in the day. Parking is free if you go early as well.

We did get the food from the stall as well. The food was good, but pretty pricy. The uni was fresh and large. The collar was good as well. Overall great fish market. The food stall is good, but pricy for what they give.

Great Uni hand roll! Expect to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Worth every bit of it. It is hot in the sun so wear a hat. Get there early because the great stuff sells out fast

First time here and love the fresh caught fishes. I ordered poke and ceviche and ate them on site with no sauces. Perfect!

This was a fantastic thing to come across on a Saturday morning very next to downtime.
Full of stalls for sale of fresh fish and a stall where they cook fresh and serve you.

Tuna Harbor Dockside Market, San Diego.

Great selection of local seafood. Check the eyes for freshness!

Chat with the fisherman, learn about the local seafood industry.

Ahi, Squid, Skipjack, Albacore, Cabezón, CA Sheepshead, Tuna, Opa, Urchin, Escolar,Bonita, Mackeral, Swordfish, Wahoo, Halibut, Crab and other shellfish.

Some of the vendors will even grill up a skewer of tasty push!

Great location to photograph, people watch , engage in friendly conversation and of course enjoy purchasing the freshest seafood in San Diego. Plenty of parking.

Pro tip: bring you cooler!

Small but nice market! The uni and fish we got here was nice and fresh :) Cool to see people breaking down huge tuna. Lines for the prepared food like poke looked long and prices high though. They give free ice at one of the tents in the front and some vendors won't accept card so carry cash or use venmo/zelle.

This used to be a great market but the standards have dropped significantly. The finish I bought was already nearly rotten. Sad that the standards of these fishing companies has gone so far downhill
