I came hoping for a juicy steak and a cold beer, and left with only anger and disappointment. When we arrived, the host told us to feel free to sit anywhere. After sitting ourselves at a table, he confrontationally kicked us out of our seats for no apparent reason. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy poor service. -Real Unbiased Reviews ?

The grill inside is cool but the bouncer was off putting. We went in and he said we could sit anywhere, grabbed drinks at the bar and tried to sit down and he ran up to us saying we couldn’t sit there and started arguing with us about if we wanted to eat food or not??? Was not clear that we had to make separate reservations about eating there. We left

I don't understand what anybody could ever want in a place. Open until the end of time, you have control over your own steak, amazing mid-century vibes, have a martini have a steak have a date have everything you want. This is really everything you want!

Awesome dive bar with grill your own steak concept. A Golden Hill neighborhood staple. Great spot for a cocktail, beer etc. Bar owner also has a couple of other spots in SD and Turf Club reflects that style.

Today i went there with my emotional support animal and they let me in but then they came to me and said i have to leave ?They even asked me what support is he giving you .. da it is a lincensed emotional support animal … i had to be blind or smth i guess. Emotional support is accepted and these animals are licensed. He was even in my bag. They were so disrespectful and i believe dog haters. Lets protest that. This realy hurt me a lot. I even do not pay for pet rent because he is emotional support animal. So hurt right now. This place is right by my apartment ?Planning to have just a drink with my Ken and then leave ? we are really sorry right now. Please consider letting support animals???? we are at fernside at grape st. and hanging ? go fernside if you want to hang with your buddy

This place is a one of a kind. Opened in the '50s(?). It's a dive bar with a barbecue. We got there early to avoid congestion at the barbecue. We had a great time and the food was excellently cooked :-)
