This is the worse thing I've tasted in a long time. I asked for chips and guac and received these chips with some green liquid. The best description is melted play-doh or plastic...not sure how to describe it honestly but it was terrible.

HIDDEN STREET TACOS ...You can find Tury's inside the bar or in the back patio. NOT open as stated on Yelp, but open whenever the bar is open. Order at the bar, pickup at the kitchen in the back patio. Taco menu! 2 for $10. ARRACHERA TACO (served with blue flour corn tortilla) - red onion, cilantro, red sauce, pickled onions, guacamole. That's the description. But what is Arrachera? It's skirt steak. I've had this with and without the blue flour tortilla and having it with the blue flour tortilla (if available) makes a world of a difference. And the blue flour tortilla isn't always available - so I will keep it at that. But when I had it, I'm not going to lie, it was probably one of the tastiest Tacos I've had in Barrio Logan. Ingredients is extra fresh, you can see them prepare your meal in the outside kitchen in the back. Everything complimented and balanced well. When I had it, the meat, was juice and flavorful. However the other time I had it was still good but not as amazing as the first time. Different day, different batch, different chef.. I don't know, it was ok. But I want to remember this taco like my first time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. U-10 SHRIMP TACO - pico de gallo cabbage, chipotle Aiole, red onions, cilantro. Not stingy on the shrimp, they were robust looking shrimp. Shrimp batter is extra and if there is extra it needs more crispier exterior than fluff. But overall good flavor, I'd save little above average but close to average. RECOMMEND. I'd def come back, I've already have, but I am still waiting for them to put blue flour corn tortillas permanently on the menu. JABA APPROVED. Until the next review...

Just wanna say that the person who rings the customers up has a hard job. Doubling as a bartender and a cashier for food orders. That said, he rang me up for single order tacos instead of the 3 for $10 deal, even though I said thag I wanted the deal. The drinks are good.the horchata beer was out so i had the horchata cocktail. It was ok, not too strong or off putting. Idk, this place haa good food and drinks but this is twice I have been here where I feel like my wires are getting crossed with the person representing the business (the bartender). Maybe if I interacted with someone else it would go better.

Turys is the live action taco spot in the back of Border X they have been doing a killer Taco Tuesday for years, the have an unusual to me but delicious ceviche that is available only on Saturdays?? and they recently changed their menu to include a really amazing arrachera salad and added a bacon and cheese wrapped shrimp taco that is nuts! Love these folks! Support!

Turys is located inside Border X and I already had dinner across the street from here, so I wasn't too hungry. Some friends ordered the chips and guacamole and a few tacos, which looked really yummy. I decided to get some after finding out that they were on my list of places to try. I ended up getting a vampiro, carne asada, and a shrimp taco. It's cool to see them make the tacos in front of me and they were pretty big. The tacos were great and they didn't skimp on the fillings either. I think my favorite was the shrimp taco- I like how it was breaded and it was the most flavorful out of the three that I tried.

Cool little taco spot located inside of the Border X Brewery. The outdoor seating area was nice and they fit plenty of seating in such a small area. The vampiros was good, a little burnt, but the chicken, cheese and salsa saved it.

When at Turys, go with the Adovada ?'s during the week and ceviche on the weekends. ? Every time!

Great food and patio setting. The live music is also great! The variety of tacos assures everyone they will find something on the menu they will love. The neighborhood shops also make it a nice destination to walk around in. My son goes to Turys quite often and is always welcomed as a return patron
