I go to this place during my lunch break almost every day, I love their food and they are well oriented and have excellent customer service. 100% satisfaction and it’s a must try.

Best African reasturant in all of san Diego. I kind you not. The sambusa to the rice to the ball of Donughts they have are delicious. I will for sure come back here. I found My self a new permanent eating spot. The people here are so friendly and nice. I can't even explain it. Please try this restaurant out if you want delicious ? food.

The food was super awesome and the people are very friendly. I was more than impressed with all the different flavors and how each item paired with each other from dish to dish. The chai tea is the best I've ever had anywhere. I wish I could give more stars I'd be giving them a 20/20. Small groups, 5 or less or order to go. Highly recommendVegetarian options: You can order anything from the menu with no meat and it'll be vegetarian.Parking: Parking lot has plenty of roomWheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs

African spice has the most friendly and kind workers, on top of the amazing people the food is excellent. The large portions they serve will leave you with delicious leftovers to take home. This is my first time coming to this restaurant and it won't be my last time. 10/10 expience

I paid $17 to get a plate of beef and fufu that looks like someone's left overs, this is the first time going here and I will not be going back nor would I recommend anyone to eat there, I waited 30 minutes for the food which was okay because I thought it was going to be fresh. SmH thus was a bad experience

Fantastic foods. I crave novelty and this place delivered. There's a cat owned by bicycle shop and it's so friendly. You have to understand animals on a spiritual level to have it let you pet it. Good luck. :)

I cannot say enough of this place. My son did a lesson on Tanzania this week for homeschool, and after listening about all of the yummy dishes kids there eat, we decided to take a turn with Eastern African food ourselves.I absolutely loved it. From the warm staff right down to my last bite of food. We will definitely be returning to enjoy their wonderful dishes again soon.

Very tasty and super friendly service. Got some delicious bhajia, samosas, and mandazi. Also got a pack of chapati that tastes as good as those in Kenya.

Food here is AMAZING....when they have it! Despite coming during the hours that are posted here 3 separate times in the afternoon, they either seem like they aren't expecting anyone or are out of most items and just have sambusa (which are incredible). I've had the whole fried tilapia with chapati and the fish curry with rice and all have been great! Just wish they were open and prepared more!

This place is very authentic and real Somali-Mediterranean style food. The customer service is A1 and excellent. They are very nice and good people. The food is really bomb and healthy and fresh and hot and ready. They make it on the spot. If you are looking for real authentic Somali Mediterranean food don't just take my word for it come here and taste for yourself!

I don’t usually rate businesses but this one really deserves it and I would rate them higher if I could.Where do I start? First, this little hole in the wall restaurant makes their food to order, so if you’re looking for fresh food, come here. People are super friendly, good recommendations, and food is very we’ll seasoned. I had (forgive me if I spell the dishes incorrectly) spicy coffee and mandazi, which is a sweet bread, way better than a donut. I also had chicken and beef sambusa, rice and tilapia. The food is inexpensive and you get a lot for your buck. I will be coming back.
