First time coming here, tried the sample of the Ube cheesecake and it was amazing. Asked for one of the mini Oreo basque cheesecakes and after arriving at home, found out we only got a partial one? This one was obviously put out for sampling because it's cut up, has toothpick holes in each piece and is missing a piece. Afraid to even try it if it was sitting out for the public, so wasted $13 for a mini cheesecake. Not a great first impression.

I just came back from my japan trip and been on a mission to find Japanese cheese cake, I've tried a couple places but none are the same or even close, uncle tetsu's strawberry one was pretty close on the texture , and the flavor was pretty good!

The store is clean, and the staff are friendly and will give you detailed explanations and help you. A souffle cheesecake specialty store that recreates the taste of Japanese soufflé cheesecake. They mainly have stores in LA, and recently opened in SD. Sweets that have the flavor of the ingredients, are not overly sweet, and have a light texture that makes them easy to eat. It also features a lineup of taro flavors that you can't find at Japanese cheesecake shops.

Good quality cakes with pretty reasonable pricing ($13), perfect to bring to parties or to just enjoy at home! Ordering online was pretty easy, though it doesn’t allow you to choose a time for later (only ASAP). I called them right after placing the order to change the time for pick up and they were accomodating.
The inside is pretty small, perfect for just pick ups with no seating available. Depending on the time you go, parking can be a mess especially in that plaza but if you’re just picking up, it shouldn’t be too bad.
I’ve now tried their Original, Pandan, Ube, Oreo, and Coffee cakes and I would say my favorites are the Oreo and Ube. The cakes are light, fluffy, and aren’t too sweet. Will definitely order more cakes from them!

this is my go-to spot for japanese cheesecake. the textures, flavors and sweetness level of their cakes are superb. i’ve tried the matcha and original flavors, and must say their matcha cheesecake (as a matcha lover) is my favorite. the original is great too; i would enjoy it paired with berries next time. these cheesecakes are perfect to pick up for a gathering or special occasion!

Each bite melts in your mouth it’s the type of slice you’ll want to enjoy every single bite! Will definitely be returning ?. Parking can be tricky but plenty of street parking for sure. Service was above and beyond!
