Average to slightly below Neapolitan style pizza. Sauce had a good flavor, but was a little too thick, as if they cooked it too long. Crust was good. Mozzarella was very sparse (even fire Neapolitan standard). The basil was cooked on the pizza, which really only works if you soak it in salt water beforehand, which they didnt.

AMAZING! Hired the food truck for a last minute gathering and it was the best decision! They were on time with setup, timed the pizzas perfectly and our guests crushed them. Highly highly recommend!! We will most definitely be using them again.

We have hired URBN for a couple corporate events, the first event went great, the second event, we had a terrible experience working with Michael. As an event planner, our client had a few date and time changes with plenty of notice (over 3 months notice) which can be frustrating, but all within the normal catering and event business, but seems to be difficult for URBN Catering to handle.

We had a few unanswered emails confirming event details a couple weeks prior to the event, so I called to follow up the week for the event. The first response I received was "oh yeah, I have gotten a lot of emails from you..." (not a great start). Second response was "can we expect to only get one event a year from you?" (very shocking response).

This company lacks communication and is arrogant. The lack of booking professionalism received was a little unreal and completely unexpected based on the previous event we had them do.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend working with them.

Food is good ?, service excellent ? .

We had URBN catering come to a private party of about 25 people last night. We had contracted for pizza, salad and cannolis. I talked to Michael extensively about the cannolis beforehand and they were just as delicious as I had hoped. The crew of John and George were fantastic at our event! They kept serving up hot and tasty pizzas (lots of different varieties) and making sure the salad was well stocked. They even asked me if anyone had any special food needs (vegan, no nuts etc) because they had brought special salad mix in case modifications needed to be made on the fly. (They made me a Gorgonzola free salad). Customer service was top notch from John and George and people kept telling us that the food was a hit! At the end of the event we had a lot of pizza left over and they brought us boxes so that our guests could take some of the goodness home. To be honest, I just finished about three slices of the cheese pizza they made me as well as a couple cannoli. Thank you URBN for making my husband's retirement party such a success!!

WOW, I attended a wedding a last weekend that had URBN pizza catering the after party and I couldn't believe how delicious the pizza was. I grew up on the East Coast and this definitely tasted like real authentic Conecticut style pizza. It was the perfect ending to a perfect wedding.

I can’t rave enough about Mike and his team! Being native New Haven-ers my husband and I were skeptical about how authentic the pizza was going to be. But I was glad to be SO wrong! The pizza truly brought a little bit of home to our rehearsal dinner and there was NO shortage of food! We had so much leftover we had to send guests home with it. His chefs were 100% on their game and were so great to deal with. They were checking in on us constantly and just cranking out fresh food. The pizza truck was also cool for our guests to go out and take pictures of. We’ll certainly be visiting them in LA at Smorgasburg and at their flagship store whenever we go down to SD. Thanks again Mike and team!

I recently got catering from URBN. My guests all loved the food. The staff were all very friendly as well.

Our office hosted a big party last month and URBN catered all of the food. I wasn't expecting the pizza to be so light and delicious. Most of the pizza I eat is heavy and makes me want to take a nap afterwards, but this pizza actually made me feel energized and ready for the rest of the day.

URBN catering hit it out of the park with our office lunch catering last week. The pizza was some of the best I have ever tasted. Perfectly cooked, New Haven style is my absolute favorite and very hard to find on the west coast.
