Love the vegan and vegetarian options. The red curry and the green curry were some of the best I’ve ever tasted.

Absolutely phenomenal! Yesterday was my first time trying Veganic. I’ve heard about how amazing it is and the hype was well deserved. I got Tom Kha with steamed soy chicken and yellow curry with steamed soy duck. The curry had a nice kick even at mild and both dishes were extremely flavorful. The duck was my favorite protein. Excellent texture and cooked perfectly. The chicken wasn’t my favorite but I imagine it would be better fried. It was a little mushy for my preference but overall everything was amazing and I’ll be back soon!

I have been going here for years and the quality has never changed! I absolutely love the yellow curry with a Thai tea. I have had a bunch of other items as well and nothing has disappointed! Staff is amazing and restaurant is very clean! So happy to have this place in Hillcrest!

Cream cheese wontons were ok but the inside was too liquidy and the flavor wasn’t quite there. Curry puffs were delicious. Drunken noodles were average, have had better and the noodles were all stuck together. Jungle curry was more of a soup consistency, herby flavor. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-17

This is a restaurant I’ve seen in the media for a long time. What made me want to try it wasn’t just the menu, but the owner’s character — friendly and truly attentive to customers. When I finally get there, the atmosphere is great, the food is high quality, and the service makes you feel comfortable from the very first step inside. If you like places with a real “identity,” I highly recommend it. I’ll be going very soon too.

I was starved and Veganic Thai Cafe was a real saver! The food came out timely, by a kind server, and was very delicious! I recommend all folks traveling and local in the area to support this local vegan joint!

I am a regular at veganic thai and it never disappoints. At this point I have tried almost everything on their menu and it almost always hits the mark.
Parking can be a but tough, I would recommend checking the street behind the restaurant.

Veganic is one of those rare vegan restaurants that instantly wins you over from the first bite and keeps impressing you long after the meal is over. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy flavorful Thai food done completely plant based. The menu is well thought out, and you can really tell that care and intention go into every dish, especially when it comes to balancing spices, textures, and freshness.

I ordered the yellow curry, and it was absolutely amazing. The sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned, with bold flavors that never felt overwhelming. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, soaking up the curry while still keeping their texture. It was warm, comforting, and deeply satisfying from start to finish.

My wife had the pumpkin curry, and it was just as delicious. The pumpkin added a gentle sweetness that paired beautifully with the savory Thai spices, creating a dish that felt hearty, cozy, and well balanced. It was one of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave.

One thing to note is that parking can be a bit of a challenge, so it helps to plan ahead. That said, the food is absolutely worth it. Veganic truly shows how incredible vegan Thai food can be, and we left happy, full, and excited to come back again.

Came here to try this spot on my no meat fast. The place is nice and cozy inside. I ordered THREE BROTHERS
Baby Don Chey. Shitake mushrooms, and fried tofu covored wast garke aren sauce.the food was nicely cooked and tasted delicious. Well seasoned. It was a good bit of food. With the brown rice I paid $19. I’m definitely coming back to try some other items off the menu.

Overall good vegan options. Tom kha soup with coconut milk was very nice but rest of the food that we ordered was in sweeter side and not spicy. We had to add chilli sauce to bring the spicyness and tangy taste.
