We love The Veranda. It's our spot! We always have the best food and service. My parents are visiting and it's my mom's birthday. I had a reservation at Poseidon, but my mom opted to go to The Veranda instead. I made a reservation for 11am. We arrived and there were MANY empty tables. The hostess, Bella, made us wait 10 minutes even though there were plenty of tables. She kept seating others, even those without reservations, and put a party of two with no reservation at a table for five, on the golf course...when we were a table of four. She repeatedly told me that there was a wait because we made our reservation same day. It was so bizarre. Because there were so many open tables, I said, “how about that one?” She asked “the one on the corner?” I said yes. She then said, “oh, well that's not on the golf course. It's in the corner.” I said that's totally okay. Then she said that will be another 10 minutes because the server just got a large party. There was no large party and there were more empty tables than occupied tables. She finally said she could seat us at a table in the very back. We said fine. All the tables she chose not to seat us at because we “made reservation same day” remained empty throughout our brunch. I sent a note on open table requesting the manager contact me. I did appreciate they she came to our table and I was able to share what happened. Everyone has bad days, but I'm still baffled by Bella's behavior and attitude. It just made no sense, whatsoever and truly left a poor taste in all of our mouths. We spend every holiday at the Veranda, but I never want to experience poor service from Bella again. My elderly parents did not deserve this. None of us did.
Outstanding Dinner and Service! The ambiance with the guitar player is terrific! The menu has a diverse selection of foods and we had a wonderful time! Thank you!
My favorite place for lunch. Glorious views of the golf course, ambiance galore. Feels like you are at a fancy resort in Europe. The food is good, and reasonably oriced, but not exceptional but the ambiance more than makes up for that
Ordered the wedge steak salad. PROs: The service was good. The hostess even pointed out a bit of uneven floor to avoid a trip. The beverage glasses were kept filled and the wait for food was not long. Lovely to sit on the veranda, though, with a soft breeze blowing. CONs: It used to be that a piece of bread was offered to those eating salad, but not here. The kitchen cut the steak in the wrong direction so the meat was stringy and tough. The green goddess dressing is very, very sweet, like cough syrup. The tomatoes looked worn out, as if they were cut a day ahead of use. The lettuce stems were brown on the ends. The bacon, which should have been warm and crisp, was rubbery, greasy, and inedible. I ate here two months ago. I ordered the lobster roll, which was served with a nice bowl of bisque. The cost was $36. Yesterday, the soup was not being offered with the lobster roll and the price was still $36.
Took my wife here for our anniversary and had a wonderful evening. Everything, from the food, service and ambiance to the entertainment was excellent Will definitely be coming back for those special occasions.
We eat at the veranda on a regular basis and it's usually pretty good. On our recent visit it was very busy and the service was very slow and our server didn't come back to check on us or refill our drinks. There was a lot of small children (a group of 10) at the restaurant and they were allowed to run all over the putting green next to the dining area. They were screaming off and on for over an hour. We could not hear or enjoy the live music due to this. In addition I ordered the scallops for dinner and they were undercooked and chewy. The appetizer we ordered was hummus and pita. The pita as cold. We will try to give it another chance as we are members there but this last experience is as not good!
Come here once a week for breakfast with my folks. Nadia is always pleasant and the wait staff/servers are very professional. Mimosas and Bloody Marys are delicious.

We had a family gathering, celebrating our daughter's impending wedding, and from the minute we walked in the staff was friendly and took care of every need. The food was outstanding. I had a special Risotto which I'm still thinking about :)
Perfect place to have a family gathering. We celebrated my aunt's 90th birthday at Veranda and everything was immaculate.
Had a great time. Live music was a bit over the top when it started filling up and you're sitting right next to the performer. Even though it's outside, it still gets noisy when full. Loved it though. Will be back soon.

This restaurant has a nice outdoor setting with pretty views. I ordered a steak and it came out tender and juicy. The staff was attentive and friendly. It’s a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. I would recommend it for a casual but nice dinner.
It was my mom's 83rd birthday, I noted this when I made the reservations and mentioned the birthday girl to the waiter and nothing was done for her. It was disappointing. Most restaurants bring a small complimentary desert with a candle so I was super surprised there was nothing. We dined here a year ago and they made it special for my mom with a small desert and candle. We still love the ambience and had a great time, but I was bummed by this.
Both of our meals went back. We declined replacement meals as it ruined our anniversary dinner. My meal, scallops were undercooked, and my wife's shrimp were gritty.
Randy, our waiter, was impersonal, unattentive, and inauthentic, borderline rude. He should not be in the customer service industry. Michael, who was NOT our waiter, was engaging and customer service-oriented. I am an award-winning customer service representative. I was very dissatisfied with the service I received on September 9th. The food was poorly presented and was bland and tasted cheap, especially for the bloated price. My co-worker and I both had upset stomachs after eating the flatbread, and she had the grass-fed burger.
It took 35 minutes for a server to show up at our table. We had to go inside and get our own cocktails. We eat here at least twice a month. The service is usually slow, but this about had us walking out the door. Once approached by the manager, then the server, all was good.
