Amazing ambiance and great people! Drinks are nice too. Good enough space to hold small parties too.

When I worked there I would hoist the flag first thing every morning. In the evening the commander and I would retire the colors, fold them neatly and shake hands

I visited this post for the first time ever today. As soon as I walked in, everyone was so warm and welcoming. I didn't know a soul when I stepped in, but I left knowing everyone. Super cute little spot, with a gorgeous hall. The bartender was proud of her post and along with Dyan, spoke with me about renting out the hall for my Wedding rehearsal dinner. Totally hoping that works out because this is a super cute spot

I'm a Life Time member of VFW. And this man named, Donald aka "Duke" Cooper said he is a RET. Veteran, and found out he ONLY spent 12 days in basic training and never finished basic training

Not sure why there is no US Flag flying, I am a lifetime VFW member and would love to provide the post with a flag...

This is a very friendly, very welcoming VFW Post, along with the co-located Pacific Beach American Legion Post 552 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit. The hall (with hardwood floor) is available for public rentals. The Post offers occasional Sunday breakfasts, and can't beat the great deal of Tuesday evening $4 dinners (especially when the entree is Chicken Pot Pie). When experienced bartender Jerry is there daytimes, you get a very well-made cocktail and interesting conversation. A limited selection of bottled beers and wines are on the adult beverage list too.
