Wonderful service, excellent wine choices, and delicious food. Our server, Brandon, was on-point at every level. He really took care of us and made sure that we gave our dear friend a very happy birthday meal and dessert. Highly recommend!

We went on New Year's Eve and there were some noisy customers in the room--that's not the restaurant's fault, though, Appetizers were great: Fried calamari was tender and flavorful; eggplant lasagna was tasty with good sauce. However we asked our steak to be medium rare, and it came way beyond medium--almost cannot see pinkness.

We made a last minute reservation for Aqua Mare since we were meeting my daughter's boyfriend at Christmas break before he traveled back. Victorio was our waiter and he was great, very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. He even tweaked one of their dishes to suit my needs! Overall a great meal and the Tiramisu is delicious!

The meal was enjoyable, and the food was good as usual. However, they seemed to be understaffed. and service was very slow and inattentive.

Aqua Mare is the best basic Italian food in Carmel Valley. We love the artichokes, and the fact that they don't charge you for bread and pesto dipping oil. Portions are generous, pasta is perfectly prepared and service is impeccable.

The food was absolutely incredible . Our server Brandon was fantastic. This is a great place and we will definitely be back again.

recommend the artichoke appetizer, can't go wrong with the lasagna or the chicken piccata.

I went in Mothers Day and they forgot to bring out my Chilean Sea Bass. Which I paid for by the way. I told the waiter afterward I never received the Sea Bass. I should get a free one next time. Since I didn't get reimbursed. It really ruined my experience.

Beautiful dining experience overlooking the ocean and Torrey Pines lagoon. The patio has heaters so it was comfortable, even on a cooler night. Our waiter, Brandon, was very attentive and personable. Food was absolutely delicious. I look forward to going back.

We always enjoy dinner here. Food and service is excellent. I love their eggplant parmigiana. It is not fried and but stacked. The waiter suggested I add vegetables since it is an appetizer and I was using it as my entree. It was perfect. My husband had the veal piccata and he said it was delicious too. It is lovely on their patio but it was busy so it was noisier than usual. All in all it was a good experience!

Great place, outdoor is perfect, not noisy and the sunset view is amazing. The food is delicious but quite expensive .

Our waiter, Brian, was a blast! We loved the artichoke appetizer, lobster/crab ravioli and more! A hidden gem!

Just truly good food, an unexpected experience. Food was authentic and nothing about the place was pretentious.

The restaurant was very loud. I had to yell across the table to be heard. Despite stating in reservations it was to celebrate my husband's birthday and telling the server, no mention of it was made. Disappointing.

Devin provided us with a wonderful experience. We loved the food & everything about Aqua Mare.
